During his career as a hunter, Ramiel has learned one very important thing. Half the way to victory is to take the enemy healer out of the fight.
It makes no difference whether one is facing dungeon monsters or fighting humans. The principle is always the same and unchangeable, the healer should die first. This will save the later problems of fighting the same enemy again and allow to develop an unparalleled advantage.
Furthermore, separating Isis from the rest of the team and exterminating her quickly is an essential factor on which the success of the former hunter's plan depends. Killing Nick would be at least problematic, if not impossible, with a healer behind him.
