Chapter 9 - The end of the summit

The entire council turned to Ulti, surprised by what they had just heard. Ulti never bothered to contribute anything of relevance and any other person except a princess only had the right to stay silent. Who was this woman?

"I have a better idea," She said.

"Of course," Elara, the silk princess said, "A troublesome person like Ulti, and her most troublesome unit, they're so rebellious, but they can defeat armies."

Ulti, while picking her nose looked behind her and then removed her index finger and rubbed it under the table.

"We could take the fight to them," she smirked.

Jack is shown at the mansion, hanging on the chandelier and staring out the big window.

"There's a reason I avoided those people," he said, "Every time they come, Her Highness is steps closer to getting executed for their misconduct."

"That's how he trained them," another man, who was crossing his legs and sitting on a chair by the window said, a cigar in his mouth.

" 'He'," Jack startled, "Then who are you?"

"Haha," the man scoffed, "You can call me ZT-965."

Jack jumped down and landed on his feet. He then drew out his sword.

"Intruders are to be purged," Jack said, "I am Jack, the vicious bear who devours his prey."

The man scoffed and threw out the cigar, "Expect a swift end."

The Geometrian princess sighed and patted her hand on her face, "I was hoping that you irritants, nuisances who have absolutely no place in the room wouldn't cause any trouble this year.

"Don't worry," Lucy said sharply, turning to the Geometrian princess, "This decision holds promise."

"You see, that," The Geometrian princess said pointing to Lucy, "That is what you say whenever you're about to smash a city block. I'm sure that giant bear is at home doing just that."

Ulti said, "I apologise for her interruption. Could you please shut up!?"

Lucy scoffed and then turned her back, sitting on the table.

"We could take the fight to them," Lucy said.

"Absurd!" Elara yelled.

Lucy looked at her with amused eyes.

"It is not our way to challenge other nations," Elara continued turning her head to the Geometrian and Garden Princesses."Surely you all see how ridiculous this is?"

"It does indeed go against our culture," The Geometrian Princess added.

"Oh please," Lucy interrupted, "Our culture was created by old women a millenia ago who never even knew what the Nether was."

"Are you insulting our ancestors?" The Geometrian Princess hissed.

"I am simply suggesting change," Lucy explained, "Think about it, if the first Geometrian Princess, Geranium, decided to stay in the Parle country, then this kingdom wouldn't exist. If the great hero of the four nations, Zetsu decided not to change the traditional mode of training, do you think our kingdom would be thriving? Or do you think, if the first Elara didn't disobey Silkian culture, this continent would exist?"

"But these laws were created to protect a country which has stood for thousands of years," Elara said, "Removing them would only destroy it. Ulti, control your minion!"

"With all due respect," Lucy said, "Don't you think you've been standing on someone else's decision for way too long? A ruler should think for herself."

"How dare you?!" Elara yelled, smashing her hand into the table, "Surely there must be some punishment for such an insult. (She turned to the Geometrian Princess)"

"The council will decide," the Geometrian princess replied, staring into space. 'After all,' she thought, 'This Lucy was the daughter of one of the best warriors and strategists in the world, and she speaks from experience. She has seen a fallen kingdom."

"Sorry," John said as he, Retsu and Tetsu walked to the door

"But we only needed to inform you," Tetsu said, "To see that look on your faces, when we find Rimbar no. 0."

Tetsu waved back as they all exited, closing the door behind them.

Ulti sighed and looked around, "So, who's hungry?"
