~Stinson Home- Hackett Town, Tekisu District~
"Help! Someone please help!" Dina's desperate cries echo through the blood-soaked hallway as she drags herself forward, her severed leg leaving a crimson trail behind her. Panic twists her features, her once vibrant amber eyes now clouded with terror and pain.
A cold, mocking laugh reverberates down the hall, a sound that chills Dina to her core. She turns, her heart pounding in her chest as her gaze lands on the figure approaching her with deliberate, measured steps. Rachel emerges from the shadows, her aquamarine hair falling over her face, partially obscuring her now cold, green-blue eyes. The pale skin of her face glows eerily in the moonlight streaming through the shattered windows.
"Why do you struggle, Dina?" Rachel's voice is calm, almost curious, as if they were discussing something trivial over breakfast. "Mom at least gave in without a fight."
Dina's breath catches in her throat as she stares at the sister she barely recognizes. "Rachel, why are you doing this to us?" Her voice trembles with disbelief and fear. "I know we didn't always get along, and I know you hated Mom, but we're family. Please don't do this. It was that strange woman who put you up to this, right? The one with black hair and dark eyes? She's evil, isn't she? A Junsui demon. Why even work with her?"
Rachel's lips curl into a smirk, the expression devoid of warmth. "You never understood anything, did you, Dina? This has nothing to do with her and everything to do with me. Yes, Remy approached me, offered me power, and I took it. But it was my decision, my choice to become what I am now."
Dina's eyes widen in horror as she realizes the depths of Rachel's hatred. "You... you let her turn you into a demon just to... to kill us?" Her voice is barely above a whisper, the shock of the revelation overwhelming her.
"Not just to kill you," Rachel corrects, her tone sharp. "To get revenge. On all of you. You, Mom, Dad—every single one of you who treated me like I was nothing, who never saw me, never cared about what I wanted." Her eyes gleam with a twisted satisfaction. "Remy gave me the means to make sure you all paid for what you did to me. And now, you're the last one left, Dina. Just go to hell already."
With that, Rachel steps forward and stomps hard on Dina's back, forcing a cry of pain from her sister's lips. The force of the blow drives the air from Dina's lungs, and she struggles to breathe, her body weak and failing.
"I'm going to rule this world together with Noah," Rachel declares, her voice filled with dark ambition. "If I have to sell my soul for that, so be it. It's my life, and I'll do whatever it takes."
Dina whimpers but manages to let out a weak, bitter chuckle. "Yes, Rachel, it's your life," she rasps, her voice filled with sorrow and regret. "But did you ever stop to think if Noah will want you after this? When he finds out what you've done and who you've become, will he still love you?" Dina smirks, her lips trembling as she sees the flicker of doubt cross Rachel's face. "Perhaps you are more suited to living as a demon after all. But remember this: eternal life also brings eternal regrets. I hope you're prepared to face the consequences of your actions from now on. I doubt you are."
Rachel's face contorts with rage, her momentary hesitation vanishing as quickly as it appeared. "Who can say? That'll be my cross to bear, but for now… just die." With a swift motion, Rachel slashes Dina's throat, watching with a cruel smile as her sister's life drains away.
As Dina's eyes close for the final time, Rachel stands over her, a sense of satisfaction washing over her. "I'll make my own destiny, fate be damned," she whispers to herself, turning away from the lifeless body of her sister. She steps over Dina's bloodied form and walks out of the house, her thoughts already shifting to the future she plans to seize, no matter the cost.
The night air is cool as Rachel steps outside, the scent of blood and death still clinging to her. She looks up at the moon, a satisfied smirk tugging at her lips. But as she revels in her victory, she senses a familiar presence behind her.
"Enjoying yourself, are we?" Remy's voice is smooth, dripping with dark amusement as she emerges from the shadows. Beside her stand her loyal servants, Abdul and Draconia, their expressions unreadable in the dim light.
Rachel turns to face them, her confidence unwavering. "Very much so," she replies, her voice filled with a twisted pride. "It's done. They're all dead."
Remy's lips curve into a smile, one that doesn't reach her cold, calculating eyes. "Good," she purrs, her tone laced with approval. "You've done well, Rachel. You've proven yourself worthy of the power I've bestowed upon you. But now, it's time to pay up."
Rachel's smug expression falters, confusion flickering across her features. "Pay up? What do you mean?"
Remy's smile widens, a hint of malice in her gaze. "Surely you didn't think I'd grant you such power without expecting something in return? You will be in servitude to my son, Silas, for the rest of your life. You will be honest and true only to him, and you will do anything he asks of you. If you ever defy him, your only fate will be a painful death."
Rachel's eyes widen in shock, her heart pounding in her chest. "What? This isn't what I wanted!" she protests, her voice rising with panic. "I agreed to help you with your plans to take over the human world, but beyond that, I was supposed to be free! I was supposed to live with Noah, not be someone's servant!"
Remy's gaze hardens, all traces of amusement gone. "You were mistaken, Rachel," she says coldly. "You have no right to make demands. The power you now possess comes at a price, and that price is your loyalty and servitude to my son. You will obey him without question, or you will suffer the consequences."
Rachel's breath catches in her throat as the weight of Remy's words sinks in. She glances at Abdul and Draconia, hoping for some sign of support, but their expressions remain impassive, offering no solace.
"No, this isn't right!" Rachel insists, desperation creeping into her voice. "I won't do it! I won't be his servant! I—"
Remy's patience snaps, and she narrows her eyes, her voice turning icy. "Abdul, Draconia, take her away."
The two servants move swiftly, grabbing Rachel by the arms and dragging her away despite her struggles. Panic surges through Rachel as she realizes she may have made a terrible mistake. "No! Let me go! This wasn't the deal!" she screams, thrashing against their grip.
But her pleas fall on deaf ears as Abdul and Draconia carry her away, her struggles futile against their inhuman strength. As they disappear into the night, Rachel's screams echo through the dark, a chilling reminder of the price of power and the inescapable consequences of her choices.
Remy watches them go, a satisfied smile playing on her lips. "Foolish girl," she murmurs to herself. "You thought you could play in our world and come out unscathed? You're mine now, Rachel, and soon, you'll learn the true meaning of obedience."
With that, Remy turns and fades into the shadows, leaving the blood-soaked town behind as she returns to her dark plans and the chaos she intends to unleash upon the world.
