The story begins with Hiroshi deciding whether to leave the bodies or try to save someone without healing powers or access to any hospital close, the reality of a more realistic medieval experience.
As Hiroshi contemplates what to do next, a man, barely alive, grabs his knee. Hiroshi jumps in surprise.
Man: "In... inside the carriage...
There is a potion... bring it... please..."
Hiroshi rushes back to the carriage, finding a small vial inside. He returns and gives it to the man, who immediately uses the remaining potion on the other hostages. Three of them start to stir, including the elf girl.
Hiroshi: "Are they going to be, okay?"
Man: "For now... My name is Gunts. I work for the King's Guard. These bastards were involved in human trafficking."
I have been investigating these guys a week ago when I was ambushed and captured by a Talented thief — Man.
Hiroshi: What is a talented thief?
Gunts: You do not know what they are? Where are you from?
Hiroshi: I'm from, ahh the Eastern continent.
Hiroshi's Mind: I just do not want to mention I'm from Earth, who would trust a guy on Earth who says his from Mars?
Gunt: I thought no Human lived there anymore after the Fairies exterminated Appalachia.
Hiroshi's Mind: Really, are sure?
Its good enough no one has asked what happened to the other bandits — Hiroshi.
Gunt: Talented humans are humans capable of performing magic, not as much as the other races but enough to endanger other humans.
Gunts: Each Talented Human needs at least 10 years of training and a huge mental capacity and concentration, such as with martial arts only few are capable to perform close combat skills such as slicing the wind, but many can light a candle with basic martial arts training, magic is not the strong point of humans compared to the 6 sentient species of Torrma.
Back on my world martial arts dint do that, or did they? — Hiroshi
Hiroshi's Mind: I am forgetting about one thing, right. The HOSTAGES!
Some aren't getting up like they should — Hiroshi.
Gunts: Calm down for now they will survive, I can go to the arsenal and bring some more, it will take 3 days, I am on a mission. The little drops of that potion might keep them alive for now.
Gunts: I will give them to the small hunter's guild in the close village, what's your name?
Hiroshi: Hiroshi!
Strange name, you are definitely not from this area, but I'll mention your name, come over and take them when they arrive, — Gunts.
Gunts: I will take this Thieves horse since they stole mine, it seems smarter, I enjoy good quality horses.
Hiroshi's Mind: I have a carriage without horses, they fled amidst the confusion, a bloody carriage with a headless man inside, can't use it. Well, I'm going to bury that after taking their load. They might have stolen something handy.
Hiroshi controls the soil with his powers in order to bury the carriage.
Hiroshi: In a normal story the MC might get some credit after that but if the thieves find this here they might just murder the nearby village in pursuit for revenge, what man could wipe a group of mercenaries by himself, not quite logical, and they seemed very strong compared to the village hunters. It's better to play safe and clean the evidence.
Hiroshi: I know how to create another carriage, or maybe a van, with the help of the CitySkylines Menu items.
A van came out of the ground like an harvest.
Hiroshi: Nice, there is a lot more space than I predicted.
Hiroshi loads the van with the hostages, the immobilized thieves, and the products the thieves had carried, when starting the van, realizes that the engine has no fuel.
Hiroshi: I don't have fuel in a medieval world. No problem, I control the physical matter and therefore the wheels of this van. To the village.
Halfway along the path, he came across one of the horses that belonged to the bandit's carriage and successfully mounted him, attached to the van in a small animal transport container used in some farms.
Hiroshi: I think I also want a horse just for the fun of it, and with this iron body that I have, even though I'm a turnip, the one at greatest risk is the horse here, I hope I learn really quickly, the Lord of Mann said to take advantage and learn some skill.
Upon arriving at the villa, Hiroshi looks for a way to convince the village leader of a place to build his HQ.
Hiroshi: Just like on earth land can be owned, I have to make sure I have that permission. Hiroshi meets with the village leader.
Village Leader: Ahh no, we don't have Landlords here if that's what you're referring to.
Village Leader: This place is a dangerous area and of little interest to the kingdom. Most of the villages up to this point do not even have inhabitants.
Hiroshi: Why is that?
Village Leader: Many humans are trafficked by other species, and the border is a very risky place. We are a village of hunters; we can sense threats quickly and hide in other uninhabited villages if necessary.
Village Leader: The Feudal fled, the tax is the only thing that happens in this place but not regularly, very few come here.
Hiroshi: No man's land. Of course it was too good to be true.
Hiroshi goes to the land block, calls the game Menu and presses a Victorian Mansion.
A victorian style mansion rises from the ground.
Hiroshi: Village Leader what do I do with this people?
Village Leader: Call me Edwin, about de people I think there is not much we can do.
Hiroshi: Is there anyone capable to perform healing magic?
Edwin: No human being for sure, and this people you better not get yourself attached to, they are severely injured, and we don't have access to healing potions nearby, they are quite expensive to.
Hiroshi: At least there must be a doctor somewhere.
Edwin: Not in this area and they are also a lot expensive to afford.
Hiroshi's Mind: Guess I must take them inside; I still have the thieves I captured and the Hostages who can't get up.
Edwin: So, you stay in this village, better warn the others.
Hiroshi: Glad, See you.
Edwin: Welcome.
Hiroshi is left to care for the injured. He awkwardly moves them into the mansion, which he realizes is now his "home."
Hiroshi: Right now, is time to bring in injuries to their rooms first, and don't forget what to do with thieves.
Hiroshi town the Little Elf, the other 3 guys to a room, where he creates several beds.
Hiroshi's Mind: I have some bread, water and pork meat that I got in the village.
After resting, the Hostages wake up still in a lot of pain.
Hiroshi spends little time looking after these people.
Hiroshi: Thank you, we pay you one day, I promise.
Hiroshi then put away the cargo that the bandits were carrying in their carriage.
Hiroshi: Here you go to the underground attic, glad I made it big.
After that Hiroshi headed to a garage he found on that house.
Hiroshi heads to the garage and decides to create a small prison for the remaining thieves. He alters the room with metal bars and even adds a small bathroom.
Hiroshi: "I'm Hiro Potter. Jail Erectus!" he chuckles to himself.
Hiroshi then seals the Front Garage Door with bricks connecting the jail to the house via an intern door.
As he carries the last thief, he notices something unusual—this one has a different, almost feminine aura, something was felt from his chest, Her Chest!?, He realizes it's a girl disguised as a thief.
Hiroshi: "What the...?"
Another empty room inside the Mansion was altered to resemble a prison with metal bars in all possible escapes, and a private bathroom. He throws her into the makeshift cell and locks it up.
The mansion feels earily quiet as he heads to his bathroom, intending to take a much-needed bath.
Hiroshi: "What the hell now, Jezz?"
Hiroshi tries to turn on the faucet, but nothing happens. He panics, realizing the mansion has no infrastructure set up for water or electricity.
Hiroshi's (thinking): "Oh no... I didn't build any utilities! How could I forget?!"
Hiroshi quickly pulls up his GAME MENU and summons a small wind turbine in a nearby terrain. Instantly, the mansion's lights flicker on as his powers connect the energy cables to the mansion.
Hiroshi: "Phew... that should be enough for now, ELECTRICITY ACHEIVED"
Hiroshi: In that game this was able to support more than 20 modern structures at least, seems enough, not that I would pick the giant Nuclear Power plants, I used that a lot, I'll keep it modest for now.
Hiroshi press the Game Menu in order to locate a water source, one appears in the region.
Hiroshi: There is one, here found a river in the map, time to magically build it from a distance.
He then sets up a water supply, locating a nearby river on his map and installing a water pump far from the sewage system he built. He's learned from past mistakes in CitySkylines Game.
Hiroshi: Rule number one if you set up the water source next to the sewer disposal you will have poop water.
Hiroshi: Aldo good thing my sewage system is now able to clean water thanks to some modding upgrades.
Hiroshi: Now the canalization.
Moments of careful planning, Hiroshi connects the canalization from the HQ to the sewage and the Water pomp structure that are faraway.
Hiroshi: Done, this Fantastic Game Menu is quite convenient it's all connected from the Head Quarters to the watering system.
Hiroshi: """ Canalization Achieved""".
Hiroshi: Perfect It's all done, now I'll raise few High Voltage Cable Towers connecting the energy supply to the Sewage and Water Supply, quite glorious. ;)
Hiroshi: — FINALLY, WATER SUPPLY AND SEWAGE.
After a long and exhausting day, Hiroshi finally takes his bath. The warm water soothes his tired muscles as he reflects on the day's events and gets the fraction of an idea of what would it be to make a comfortable and modern city in reality.
Hiroshi (thinking): Tomorrow in the morning, I have to warn the village not to mess with those metal poles and high voltage cables, better keep them tall.
Hiroshi (thinking): "I'm in way over my head... but I'll figure it out". The Fire Elves Army can get here anytime soon.
Hiroshi heads to bed, the mansion is now fully operational, his thoughts drifting to the tasks ahead. Outside, the night is calm, but the world is far from safe.
The MC now sleeps.
Hiroshi: I'm back to the Celestial Place? The palace, this is a Dream, Hello Lord of Maan?
Lord of Man: In 5 days and horde of Fire Elemental Elves will come to Ylkian Kingdom in order to capture the Villagers with great magic power reserve and enslave the remaining humans.
Morning sunlight streams through a large window, bathing Hiroshi's face in warm light. He wakes up slowly, stretching and yawning.
Hiroshi: "AAAHHHHH! What a day... I dreamt about...".
Hiroshi suddenly remembers the events of the previous night—being summoned, the battle, the mansion.
Hiroshi: Wait... I was summoned. This isn't my room, and this is not a long dream, I get it now.
Hiroshi: Despite being powerful I'm not keen in the idea of fighting an army yet, if things went bad, how bad can they get, humm.
Hiroshi: I'll made big upgrade of the wall, time to make an upgrade.
Hiroshi, now more familiar with his powers, pulls up the map in his menu. He sees 10km radius around his current location where he can perform his building magic.
Hiroshi (thinking): "I need something strong enough to hold them off... but what?"
Hiroshi's focus sharpens, and he begins constructing a massive wall around the outskirts of Ylkia. The villagers watch in awe as a structure resembling the Great Wall of China rises from the ground, but twice as tall and even more imposing.
Meanwhile, earthquakes were felt throughout the village and close by, Hiroshi was using his powers to reduce the impact on structures nearby in the region.
Villager 1: "What is that?!"
Villager 2: "It appeared out of nowhere!"
Hiroshi looks at his creation, satisfied but cautious.
Hiroshi: This serves for now, better head to the village and ask them to not mess with the newly installed High Voltage Cables.
Hiroshi: Inhabitants of this village beware of the metal towers, they carry an electrical potential large enough to cause injury, cause damage or even kill.
The village looks perplexed, not knowing how to react.
Hiroshi: They are imbued with magic similar to a curse for those who dare to touch it.
Hiroshi later creates a demonstration of what happens when you torch a high voltage cable connected to the Towers.
He connects a cable to the tower for that porpoise, and slaughters a Chicken inside a metal cage, by connecting the bare cable to the metal cage.
Hiroshi: And this is energy conduction, liked the lecture?
The Village get's scared and share the news.
Hiroshi's Mind: I caught their attention. Electrical Safety Measures Achieved.
Hiroshi's Mind: Did I exaggerate, better that no one has an accident.
Edwin the village leader arrives and starts asking questions about what he just seen and heard.
Edwin, the village leader, appears in the middle of the presentation.
Edwin: I just arrived from hunting along with the other hunters from the village, what is this? And how do you know about these towers? Hiroshi: I am a master alchemist, a man of science, an inventor.
Edwin: A wizard?
Hiroshi: Not exactly, I'm a wise man who studies natural phenomena, such as the electricity that passes through these towers.
Edwin: Electricity?.
Hiroshi: As earth, water , wind and fire consider this such as an element of the nature.
Hiroshi creates a light bulb connected to a simple device.
Hiroshi: There's light.
Hiroshi: Behold lights without the need to use magic power.
Village: Incredible, look at this, a glass candle.
Hiroshi: Later this night I perform my next big invention, street lights.
A woman carried a bucket of water with her, along side other villager, when she dropped the bucket, an idea came up.
Hiroshi: Is there a water source nearby?
Woman: There is a river a few minutes from here, it is a little far away, we fill the Water Barrels in our houses with buckets several times a day when it is not the rainy season.
With Menu, Hiroshi quickly creates a WATER RESERVOIR structure from CitySkilines Game Menu connecting it to an outside tap .
Hiroshi: Attention, look at the tap, my second greatest invention.
Hiroshi turns on the tap and a stream of water starts hitting the floor.
Hiroshi: It is free, enjoy every cubic meter of water.
Villager: ?? Cubic What?.
Hiroshi: Dont bother it, load your water buckets as you please, free water to everybody.
Villager 2: We have water, let's fill the barrels with this, hooray.
Villager: Long live the Alchemist Hero, hip hip horray.
