CHAPTER 1: The Coastal Town of Eldoria
Once upon a time, in the sunny country of Valoria, there was a small seashore town of Eldoria where the imperial family used to travel for vacations. The town was famous for its views where the purplish blue waves gently embraced the golden sand and where the sun set the sky ablaze with pinks and oranges. But, amidst this healthy rhythm of beauty, there was a whispered legend, an ancient tale (the tale of an affection that conquered fate).
Princess Seraphina, who was the youngest daughter of Lord Aldric and Queen Isolde, was famous all around the kingdom for her beauty and grace. However, she was also individualistic, drawn more by the mysteries of the sea rather than by things that would interest the royal court. She would often escape the encirclement of the castle; she would escape to the secluded coves and serene seashores that surrounded Eldoria, seeking solace in the rhythm of the ocean.
Chapter 2: A Prince from the Sea.
One day, as the sun goes down in the horizon, Seraphina ventured farther than she used to do before. She located a limited cove where the water sparkled like gemstones in the fading concentration. There, she encountered a young man not the slightest bit like any man she had ever come across before. He was tall; he had dim hair that formed waves around the face and deep sea blue eyes. He was dressed, not like a common man who she disliked so much, but like a man whose secret enthralled her.
'Who are you?' Seraphina inquired, and her tone still bore some of that curiosity which had brought her here.
"I am Prince Caelum," the young man answered with a slight bow. It is from the nearby kingdom of Aquilon. It seems that my kingdom is very similar to yours, but the sea was always my home.
Seraphina now had the most stranger feeling that she had been designed to be on the same side with this ruler of the tides. During the conversation, she found out that Caelum had come to Eldoria seeking peace from the wars that ravaged his realm. Still, there was another aspect that pressed heavily on his heart.
Chapter 3: The Growing Connection and Royal Dilemma.
Weeks turned into days and Seraphina and Caelum continued to meet in the divided bay. They told each other their dreams and this led to the development of this relationship. Caelum described a curse that had plagued his family for generations a revile that had cursed each firstborn of Aquilon to lose their true love to the sea. He knows this revile ought to be his destiny as well and that amassing Seraphina was his cruel predestination.
Nevertheless, Seraphina, who is an assertive independent woman, would not really agree to the fact that their affection was doomed to failure. "The seas may be deep Caelum, yet love is deeper still" she intoned passionately "Together we shall shatter this curse".
Whenever affection started blossoming, whispers began to circulate around Eldoria about the Princess and her peculiar suitor. Lord Aldric, concerned for his girl, summoned her to the castle. "Tell me, little one, who is this man that has taken up so much of your affections," he inquired.
"He is Prince Caelum of Aquilon, Father," Seraphina said calmly, her grip tightening on the pearls.
Lord Aldric scowled, for he had heard of the scorn that plagued the imperial group of Aquilon. Anyway, upon observing the iron-willed girl in his sight, he comes to understand that his decision to ban the match would only serve to make her sad. "Good," he answered," however you should realize the evils also. Love is also a great force but the currents of determination are too.
Chapter 4: Defying Destiny.
The bold Seraphina and Caelum got married, knowing that their admiration may defy the prophecy. When their wedding came, the sun was shining bright, the sea was calm a sign of good luck most people claimed. The entire kingdom gathered to witness the union of their beloved princess to the elusive king.
Thus, as the two exchanged vows by the shore of the small sea, the water gently caressed the sandy coast, almost endorsing their companionship. Nevertheless, as the service ended, there was the storm coming in from the horizon, ominous clouds moving in and the wind howling through the air. The waves grew higher, reaching new levels of steepness, and charging into the rocks with tremendous force.
A chill went through Caelum as he examined Seraphina's eyes, dread seizing his heart. "The curse. "He stated quietly.
Seraphina, who grasped his hand firmly, said no. "No, Caelum. Our love will break the curse."
Chapter 5: Love conquers all
Above the noise, Seraphina raised her voice and stepped forward, to bring the true essence of romance to the place. Please listen to me, spirits of the sea: our worship is chaste and well-pleasing to the Lord. We cannot sit down and let this territory remain under the fate of such a status. May this hatred forever cease to be and may the waves envelop our heart.
And as if in answer, the storm began to subside, the mists parted to reveal a sky filled with stars. Polar to his expectation, the waves ceased charging the shore and embraced the coast tenderly. The ocean seemed to yield to their love as the people of Valoria and Aquilon looked on in admiration.
From that day the curse which was on Aquilon was vanished from the place. Seraphina was the queen and Caelum the king of their kingdoms and they had the happiest romance of a fairy tale where they loved each other and conquered all odds that could happen to anyone.
In Eldoria that was once stirred by the tides of fear welcoming a stranger, the people would indeed remain for all time the love that touched the core and altered the woof and warp of the web of life.
