You know how in all those anime and novels, people get summoned to another world to help save it from demons or whatever? They're usually summoned during a break in class or in the middle of a boring lecture. So, for us to be summoned in the middle of a Halloween party was a shock, besides the obvious shock of being summoned to another fucking world. However, I was going through another kind of physiological shock as well. For some ungodly reason, when we were summoned, our bodies and souls fused with the characters, animals, or whatever we had dressed up as for Halloween.
That particular fact wasn't great for me because I had decided to dress as a vial of Red Mercury from the movie Red 2. So, while everyone else was freaking out or listening to the person that summoned us, she said she was a demigoddess or something; I had splashed onto the floor. The vial I had been in was broken, and now I was just a shiny red liquid on the ground.
Somehow, I was still aware of where I was and had a limited sense of what was happening around me…and I could still kind of hear what was going on. Before I could think further about what the hell was happening, a reddish-silvery screen appeared in my consciousness:

As I was reading through my pitiful stats, I started hearing screaming around me, and before I could even begin to understand what was going on, I felt a burning sensation that turned into searing agonizing pain.
