ROSALIA'S POV
What I saw made me cringe I decided to take a closer look and what I saw next made me relieved.
I saw a side profile of a man who looks so much like my dad i was scared and shocked at the same time.
But when the man turned and I was able to see his face clearly I was relieved, because he only has a slight resemblance to my dad, seeing that man took me down memory lane.
Tomorrow would make it five years that Dad was killed and five years since we've been tailing his murderers, we got a lead about his killer three years ago we only got hold of one of them, the other escaped and the one we caught never said anything about who it was that sent them.
He was saying they would kill his entire family if he dares say anything, he says if we kill him his family would be saved and that means he has atone for his sins, the man says he was threatened with his family to kill my father.
That man saying that confirmed my suspicions of dad's death being the key to many locked doors, I know the people who ordered for his death are no ordinary people because that man keeps saying they, also confirming another of my suspicion that the pepertrator is not an individual, I know finding his killers would go a long way and finding his killers would reveal many secrets, that his killers never want to come to light that am sure of.
We coaxed, threatened and tortured the man to death's doorstep but he wouldn't budge, we tried all sorts of torture on him he was only begging us to kill him, despite all of that he never said anything and Wade later killed him since we couldn't get any information from him.
Since then we've been working on finding the real culprits, on the long run we've received various Intels that turned out to be a dead end, and we've hired less P I's because the previous ones couldn't infiltrate their walls, but i have a foreboding feeling that this time we will succeed and get to the bottom of this.
We can't be on this for five years just for nothing, Wade introduced a man to me recently his name is Ryder he is from California, and it's rumored that he is a top coder and hacker he was also introduced to Wade from the underworld, since the P I's Miranda introduced aren't really getting anywhere, and this Ryder guy I think I trust him to give us a good response soon, maybe because he's from the underworld I don't know but I am hoping he would infiltrate their walls soon i hope so.
Wade's voice jolt me out of my reverie when he announced that we've arrived home and when I checked the time I saw it's been six hours since we left the airport, and by this time the children has fallen asleep in the car we alighted and our staff came to carry our luggages from the car, and two out of them wanted to carry the twins but their overprotective uncle Wade wouldn't allow it, because he has scooped the sleeping children unto his arms without them waking and already making his way into the Villa.
On getting inside he took the children into my room and laid them on the bed gently trying not to wake them up, we made our way back downstairs and met Mom in the living room she quickly embraced me in a heartwarming hug saying "Oh my baby I have missed you so much" releasing me from the hug she asked "where are my Babies" while awaiting my response she greeted Wade "hey Mr son" and he replied her back with a bored expression "hi mom" i laughed at their little drama funny duo.
Since Mom made Wade call her Mom I instantly knew he was the son my Mom never had, thier banter is out of this world and they look so cute together like mother and son, to cut off their banter I answered her "they are upstairs and they are asleep" we then head to the dinning and we had an early dinner because we arrived at Bronx in the evening.
I later put a call through to Miranda she said it's late now and Leshawn is already asleep, they will come early tommorow morning since am moving to my house tomorrow, I told her to meet us there I had sent her the address before now.
On getting to my room the twin were still sleeping luckily for me they've eaten in the car, so I won't have to worry that they haven't eaten or disrupt their sleep to get them to eat, I tucked them properly into bed and I went into the bathroom to have a bath, after my bath and changing into a new set of clothes I head downstairs.
On getting to the living room I overheard Mom saying "you know honey you aren't getting any younger, you are supposed to be married by now, or are you purposely abandoning yourself because of the companies" Mom asked him and he replied her almost frustratedly "not again Mom I thought we've talked about this, marriage is not in my list of things now I would get married when the time is right, and that's when I've seen my choice of woman" I head inside to take a seat saying "you know Mom is right Wade you shouldn't abandon your life, or sacrifice your happiness just because you want to make others happy, I did that it got me nowhere and besides you've done more than enough for us, even if it's I on that seat I couldn't have achieved the feat, you've conquered in the span of this little years" I stopped to catch my breath and continued saying "and besides you've got the charisma, the charm, the face and you are the CEO of Reign Enterprises and you own different companies too so when is the right time if not now" he rubbed his temple and sigh as if he has developed a migraine.
"Oh not you too Lia and am not abandoning anything we are family now, so if am sacrificing my happiness as you and Mom called it because of you, Mom and the twins am only doing my responsibilities, I never knew what family was but you Mom and the twins made me know what that is, and the companies too is also my responsibility until you are ready to take full responsibility of the companies" he said facing me with all seriousness and continued "and Lia can we talk about something else, like about you and your decision on how things are now, we should leave me aside for now" he said to me and he was right though even if he is saying that to avoid what me and Mom are telling him "and you all know tomorrow's is Mr Rei- sorry dad's anniversary" Wade said reminding us about dad's fifth year death's anniversary, he hasn't gotten used to calling dad he's still calling him Mr Reign, but he's cautioning himself to stop calling dad Mr Reign.
The twins has never been to my dad's grave but they knew him, because they have seen his pictures and they knew he is their grandfather, and tomorrow they would visit his grave for the first time, but they would be familiar with his grave and his surroundings now, since we would be settling back in Bronx we would live here now.
I would call Miranda to remind her dad's funeral is tomorrow so they would come here, instead of going to my place since we are visiting Dad's grave tomorrow.
Wade called me out of my trance by saying "we should get prepared for the anniversary I will get the things that would be needed tomorrow ready" Wade said and I nodded in response after planning on everything Mom then bid us goodnight and left leaving the two of us in the living room.
Wade beckons to me saying "there are important things to be done there is a plan we must execute tomorrow, would enlighten you about it in the morning" he told me and I nodded in response to him about to climb the stairs and head to my room, he called out to me and said "and Lia it's gonna be deadly tomorrow" he told me with a icy tone.
And I felt the chills deep in my core in my six years of knowing Wade, he may act all serious with everyone and be the loving brother to me but I have never felt this kind of icyness and venom from him.
And this Wade was a bit more dangerous than the Wade that trained me two years ago this is another dangerous version of Wade Atkins and by that icy tone I knew he meant serious business.
