Droplets of water streamed and found it way down Hellen's cheeks. She stood with an aloof gaze, standing like a statue. She never dreamed of meeting this man again. Memories came like floods in her Medulla
All of a sudden, Luke, who was getting angry, exclaimed with a cold tone and a weird gaze at Hellen.
"Hello miss , lateness and disobedience are not accepted in this company. It's better you yield now before I order my bodyguard to knock you out
However, Hellen did not even respond to what Luke had just spoken. She just kept mute with hot tears sliding through her chins as she kept mumbling in her mind

Later, after Hellen had finished chatting with her mind, she finally sniffled before cleaning her face with a mouchoir, then she turned and motioned toward the door not even looking back or sparing those she met at the office a single glance., she was about to open the door when a bold, thick, and cold voice suddenly reverted her movements.
"Hey woman.. who do you think you are? You can't just come in here and.. I mean, do you take us for fools??,"
Hellen, of course, after hearing those words, she opened the door and went out without even the utterance of any words.
Other applicants at the entrance waiting for their turn kept wondering what could have transpired between Luke and this strange teen, but Hellen just walked past them without even showing a hint of the issue
Luke kept hissing continuously. What had just happened recently had just left him and his bodyguard in a state of confusion, awe, and disbelief. Currently, Luke's mood was cold, and his expression was so much menacing. He picked up the telephone on the table and dialled a number instantly
"Yes, Secretary John, I need you to send me they fool's details, miss Hellen, or what the he'll is she called," Luke voiced out with rage as soon as the call was connected
"And inform the other applicants to report here tomorrow. There's no more interviews today again," Luke added with a tone of finality
Immediately, the call ended, he slammed the telephone to its initial position. And just in that same moment,a test message rang out on his phone, and immediately he stood up and left the office

Hellen was just returning with the kids. She had gone to pick them up at the school. Her face was pale and crestfallen. She was so tired to the extent that her movements were so slow
"Mum, why are your eyes bloated??,"
"I can see that too,"
The two kids, Paul and Alvin, voiced out one after the other
"Hmm, my face... hehe.. its.. It's just that Mum is tired, okay guys, don't worry, mum will be okay..," Hellen lied bluntly to the kids while forcing out a wry tittrer
Finally, they reached their destination, and Vivian was already seated at the verandah of the building. She was definitely expecting the arrival of the trio, and immediately she saw them. She hurriedly ran to them. She carried Alvin in her arms and trekked alongside Hellen till they entered the house
Settling down at the sitting room, Vivian was the first to hit the banter
"How was the interview??,"
Hellen Heart suddenly quacked. She immediately felt uneasy about the question Vivian had just asked her. She summoned up and voiced out with a clear tone
"That will be later,"
"Alvin, Paul, go and have your lunch, I made you guys your favourite," Vivian added, causing the kids to race to the kitchen
Hellen held her chest before pouring out her mind
" I can't work in place like that, Vivian, it's impossible,"
"Why??, tell me Hellen," Vivian asked with a profound glare
"I met him today, the father of my kids, the C.E.O of the company was that guy that raped me four years ago," Hellen stated with a bemused expression before leaning her back against the sofa she seated on with her arms going over her head
"Wha.. what.. whattt!!!, How is that even po.. possible," Vivian stammered with utmost disbelief on her face. She was sonmuch surprised to the extent that she couldn't even fathom the right sentence to utter, silence erupted in the sitting room till a phone call eventually shattered the decorum.
"Who was that calling," Vivian asked Hellen
" The identity is unknown,"Hellen replied while placing her right arm on her chest. She was scared, and her expression could even attest to it
"Okay, okay, pick it up," Vivian riposted with a quite confused tone
" What are you insinuating, Vivian? I should pick it up," Hellen stated with a shaky articulation
"Yes, of course, we will fathom who is calling by that,"Vivian assured
Hellen picked up the phone and answered the call. She made it louder so that they could both hear
"Hellen miss Hellen Donnamura, you are under arrest!" The caller spoke
Hellen Heart quaked, she started panting with her voice shaking as she tried to respond
"Wha..wha. wh... what f.. for, I.. I mean.. wha,"
Before Hellen could even what was happening, the door was suddenly yanked open, and two armed police officers suddenly dashed in, pointing pistols at the two
"Excuse me, please, I'm Officer Malik from the state cops squad," one of the state police men voiced out
"Wh.. haha, what has she done??," Vivian asked in a shaky articulation
Hellen was dumbfounded. She just wished that the ground should just open up and swallow her that exact instant, but it didn't happen. One of the officers came and handcuffed her while the other pointed pistol at her head for defence of any foul play
"When you get to our station, you're going to know your offence," one of the police men voiced out again while escorting Hellen
"Vivian Don cry, okay... just stay with the kids, I'll be right back in a jiffy," Hellen assured admist tears
"No, Hellen, let me follow you, I.. I can sort things out.. I..,"Vivian spoke as hot tears kept flooding her cheeks
"No! Mum must not know I'm arrested, the kids must not know too okay,..so do.. Vivian, I'm sorry please do this one last thing for me please,"Hellen cried while walking away slowly to the police men's parked vehicle
Vivian watched as Hellen was being forced to the vehicle. And they drive out of sight
She cleaned her face went in to the house.
