Lila had made her way toward a building that was near the church of the girl they was supposedly gonna rescue.
Lila wasn't to worried she believed herself to be one of the strongest out there, she had pushed her body through some rigorous training over the last 10 years and had a solid grasp of observation haki, but her armament was still lacking barely able to active it when she wants to.
According to Koby, not many people in the Four Blues can even use haki so, she believed at worst this person she was gonna check wouldn't be much stronger than her despite Koby's warning, believe he was just afraid of old tales told by his mom.
Unfortunately, this line of thinking would bite her in the ass soon.
After walking through the streets that were less lively than they were during the day Lila had finally arrived in front of a building that seemed to be an abandoned home a block away from the church.
Feeling no fear Lila opened the door to the building, and there she saw an elderly man with a full white mustache and beard. He possessed white dreadlocks which he wore a flat black hat over. He had a scar on the left side of his face, stretching diagonally over his eye. His outfit consisted of a black suit over a dark purple tie and a white collared shirt, as well as black pants. He carried a walking cane.
" Why is there an insect in front of me,"
Alarmed bells started to ring in Lila's head telling her to run as far away as possible, but her instincts telling her she wouldn't get very far, she decided to put up her guard protecting her upper body and thanking ODA her armament haki work.
The elderly man's eyes started to glow. As soon as Lila saw the man's eye glow she was struck by a tremendous invisible force sending her flying and crashing through multiple buildings.
CRASH!
CRASH!
CRASH!
After crashing through multiple buildings Lila layed on the ground completely motiontless
" WHAT HAPPENED."
"MULTIPLE BUILDINGS BEEN DESTROYED."
"WE'RE UNDER ATTACK."
"KUMA BACK RUN."
Many civilians who were near the chaos started shouting. Causing panic in the area, civilians leaving the building where they were sleeping, and those still outside evacuating the area.
Lila lay on the ground, gasping for breath. Her body screamed in pain as she struggled to move. What the hell just happened? She had never felt anything like that before. The man hadn't even touched her, and yet it was like she'd been hit by a giant. Her mind was reeling, trying to comprehend the raw power she had just faced.
'That's... not someone I can fight,' Lila thought grimly. The old man was far beyond her abilities, and Koby had been right to warn her. Still, the frustration of her own arrogance stung almost as much as the physical pain.
The sounds of panicked civilians fleeing filled the air. The destruction she'd caused by crashing through multiple buildings created chaos. People were shouting about Kuma—an understandable reaction, given the wreckage she left behind. But it wasn't Kuma. It was something much worse.
Barely able to hold on to consciousness, Lila fought the overwhelming pain wracking her body. She had to warn the others, but her limbs felt like lead. Just one attack had left her in this state—barely able to move, barely able to think.
'Dammit, this can't be the end,' she thought, gritting her teeth. Every breath felt like fire in her lungs.
Then she heard footsteps approaching. Her heart pounded in fear. 'Is it him? Is he coming to finish me off?' She struggled to turn her head, bracing herself for the worst.
But instead of the old man, she saw her crew—Te, Koby, and Ronin—standing there. Their expressions were filled with anger and concern. Te's eyes were sharp, his usual smirk gone, replaced by a cold fury. Koby's face was grim, his jaw clenched tight. Ronin stood quietly, his fists trembling with barely contained rage.
They were pissed—pissed at seeing Lila like this, and even more pissed for letting her go off alone, knowing full well who they might be dealing with.
Koby was the first to move, not saying a word as he knelt beside Lila. He pulled a small red vial from his pocket and gently poured the liquid into her mouth. The concoction began working instantly, but her body was still weak from the devastating impact she had taken.
Te's voice cut through the tension, calm but commanding. "Ronin, take Lila and get out of here. Now."
Ronin blinked, confused. "But why—"
"NOW!" Te snapped, his voice rare with seriousness.
Ronin froze for a second, startled by the sudden shift in Te's usual demeanor. Without arguing further, he scooped Lila into his arms and, with a sharp nod, sprinted off toward the ship.
As the sound of Ronin's hurried footsteps faded, Koby and Te stood side by side, their gazes fixed ahead. The air grew heavier, and the sound of approaching footsteps grew louder.

And then, in front of them, appeared the very man they feared. Jaygarcia Saturn, one of the Gorosei—the highest-ranking members of the World Government. His presence alone sent an eerie chill through the night air, his cold eyes scanning the brothers with indifference, as though they were nothing more than mere insects.
"How dare you harm one of my friends," Te said, his voice unnervingly calm, his eyes blazing with a silent rage.
Saturn's expression barely shifted, though a faint sneer tugged at his lips. "Why would I waste my time worrying about the feelings of an insect?" His voice was low, cold, and utterly devoid of compassion. "NOW DISAPPEAR."
The force of Saturn's words alone sent a pulse of crushing pressure toward them, the air around him warping with the weight of his immense power. Te and Koby instinctively braced themselves, their eyes narrowing as they readied for the fight of their lives.
This was no ordinary opponent. Saturn wasn't just strong—he was one of the most dangerous figures in the world. And yet, despite the crushing pressure emanating from him, Te's calm never wavered.
"You're going to pay for this," Koby muttered, his fists clenching. "We're not backing down."
Saturn's cold eyes flickered with amusement for a brief moment. "Insects always resist, don't they? No matter how pointless it is."
Te's gaze hardened. "We'll see who the real insect is."
Te and Koby stood their ground, the air between them and Saturn charged with tension. Even though they had faced dangerous foes before, this felt different. Saturn wasn't just a powerful pirate or a tough Marine—he was one of the Gorosei, the shadowy rulers of the world. His mere presence bent the very air around him, a pressure that would crush most ordinary men.
Yet, despite this, Te's voice remained steady. "You talk a big game for someone about to get their ass handed to them."
Koby's eyes darted to his brother. Te's really going to provoke him? Now? he thought, knowing full well what they were up against. But then again, Te always had a knack for pushing buttons, especially when their backs were against the wall.
Saturn's cold eyes flickered, as though slightly intrigued by Te's bravado. "You think you can win against me?" he asked, his voice still calm, but now tinged with amusement.
"We've fought people stronger than you," Te lied without hesitation, his smirk widening. "You're just another stepping stone."
Saturn raised an eyebrow, seemingly amused by Te's arrogance. "Is that so?" he mused. "Then let's see if you live long enough to regret those words."
Without warning, Saturn's arm twitched, and a wave of invisible force erupted toward the brothers. The ground beneath them cracked and splintered as the pressure shot forward, aimed directly at them.
Koby reacted first, leaping back and grabbing Te by the collar, yanking him out of the blast's path. The force hit the wall behind them, shattering it into dust and rubble with an ear-splitting crash.
"Stay focused, Te," Koby muttered as they landed, his voice sharp. "This guy isn't playing around."
Te grinned, his eyes flashing with excitement. "I know. That's what makes it fun."
Saturn didn't move from his spot, his hand casually resting on his cane. He observed the two brothers as though they were nothing more than insects squirming beneath his boot.
"You won't even last ten seconds," Saturn said, raising his cane slightly. "I'll make this quick."
Suddenly, Saturn disappeared from their sight.
He's fast!
Koby barely had time to react. In an instant, Saturn reappeared directly in front of him, his cane already swinging toward Koby's face. Koby managed to block the strike with his forearm, but the force behind it sent a shockwave through his body, knocking him off balance.
Before Koby could regain his footing, Saturn was on him again, this time aiming a sharp kick at his midsection. Koby gritted his teeth and crossed his arms, bracing for impact, but the kick sent him flying backward, crashing through a nearby stall with a loud thud.
Te's heart raced as he saw his brother go down. "Koby!" he shouted, but before he could move, Saturn turned his attention to him, eyes gleaming with cold intent.
"You're next."
Te's instincts kicked in as Saturn lunged at him with blinding speed. Te sidestepped just in time, but Saturn's cane grazed his shoulder, the force behind it sending him spinning. Te stumbled but quickly regained his balance, glaring at Saturn with a newfound intensity.
"Guess you're not just some old man after all," Te muttered, rolling his shoulder to ease the pain.
Saturn smirked. "I'm more than that, boy."
Suddenly, Koby was back on his feet, blood trickling from the corner of his mouth but his expression filled with determination. He cracked his neck, wiping the blood away. "I'm just getting warmed up," he said, his eyes locking onto Saturn.
Te moved to stand beside his brother. "Ready?"
Koby nodded, his gaze never leaving Saturn. "Yeah. Let's show him what we're made of."
The two brothers charged at Saturn in unison, their movements synchronized, honed from years of training together. Koby aimed for Saturn's left, while Te went right, trying to flank him.
Saturn raised his cane and blocked Koby's fist with ease, but Te was already on his other side, aiming a sharp kick toward his ribs. Saturn pivoted, his cane swinging in a wide arc to counter Te's attack. The cane connected with Te's leg, sending a shockwave through his body, but Te gritted his teeth and pushed through the pain, retaliating with a rapid punch aimed at Saturn's chest.
The blow connected, but it was like hitting a brick wall. Saturn barely flinched, his cold eyes narrowing in amusement.
"You two have spirit, I'll give you that," Saturn said, his voice calm despite the intensity of the battle. "But spirit won't save you."
With a flick of his wrist, Saturn unleashed another wave of invisible force, sending both brothers flying backward. They crashed into the ground, the impact shaking the earth beneath them.
Te groaned as he pulled himself to his feet, blood dripping from a cut on his forehead. Koby struggled to stand beside him, both of them battered but far from giving up.
"We're not done yet," Te growled, wiping the blood from his brow.
Saturn sighed, almost disappointed. "Why do you resist? You must know by now… you can't win."
Koby spat blood onto the ground, his eyes filled with defiance. "We don't quit."
Te grinned through the pain. "Yeah. And we don't go down easy."
Te and Koby both regaining their focus decided it was time to lock in.
An immense Aura burst from the brother as they released their Ren to its full capacity, causing the rubble to blow away, and Saturn to raise an eyebrow from the pressure he was feeling from the brother.
Saturn couldn't see their aura but he could sense something was definitely off about the now.
"ELEMENTAL FUSION GATTLING GUN!!" Both the brothers shouted simultaneously, putting both their hands on the ground.
The area around Saturn instantly morphed into over a hundred cannons aimed at him in the center, pulsing a different destructive element in each barrel.
Te and Koby's eyes gleamed with fierce determination as they unleashed their combined attack. The ground beneath Saturn warped, shifting into a circle of over a hundred cannons, each barrel brimming with elemental energy—lightning crackled, fire roared, wind howled, and jagged ice formed around the mouths of the cannons.
Saturn's eyes narrowed in surprise, sensing the chaotic power coming from the brothers. He couldn't see their aura, but his instincts screamed at him to tread carefully. He had underestimated these two.
"FIRE!!" they roared together, their voices reverberating through the air.
In unison, the cannons unleashed a barrage of elemental blasts, each one containing a different destructive force—fireballs, lightning bolts, freezing gusts of wind, and sharp, cutting streams of water all converged on Saturn's position.
BOOM!
BOOM!
BOOM!
BOOM!
BOOM!
BOOM!
BOOM!
BOOM!
BOOM!
The onslaught was relentless, creating a whirlwind of destruction. Flames and ice clashed in midair, sending shockwaves throughout the street. The power behind each elemental shot caused the very ground to crack and crumble beneath them.
For a brief moment, everything was swallowed by the chaos, dust and debris clouding the battlefield.
With the dust clearing revealing a large crater stood Saturn bloodied and missing his left arm.
"I'll have to give it to you two for injuring me, but if I felt any true danger I would have just dodged."
Saturn's form started to heal his wounds at an incredible rate, and regrowing his arms instantly.
" I didn't think some insects from the south blue could make me use this form, but it's time to end this farce."
As the ground trembled beneath their feet, a palpable shift in the atmosphere signaled something ominous. The once stoic figure of Jaygarcia Saturn began to change before their eyes. His body twisted and contorted, growing larger, darker—otherworldly. His skin turned pitch black, like polished obsidian, reflecting the faint glimmer of moonlight. Etched across his body were glowing red markings, pulsing rhythmically like the beating of a heart, giving off an unsettling, ancient energy.
From his forehead, two massive, curved horns erupted, twisting upward like those of a demon from the depths of legend. His eyes, now glowing an eerie crimson, locked onto them with an intensity that chilled the soul. His once dignified, aged face twisted into a monstrous, fanged snarl, sharp teeth bared as if to devour the world itself.
As his limbs elongated, his hands transformed into enormous, clawed talons, each finger tipped with razor-sharp nails that gleamed menacingly. His very presence seemed to warp the space around him, a dense shadowy mist swirling at his feet, making it hard to tell where his form ended and the dark mist began. He loomed above them like a nightmare given flesh, radiating an aura of pure, ancient malice, as if they were standing before an ancient god of destruction.
he air grew cold as Saturn's grotesque transformation completed, a suffocating darkness engulfing the area. Te and Koby, still panting from the exertion of their combined attack, stared up at the nightmarish figure that now loomed over them. What they had thought was a hard-fought victory shattered in an instant as Saturn regrew his arm effortlessly, his wounds knitting together like they had never existed.
The ground beneath them trembled as Saturn's new form—colossal, demonic, and exuding an aura that could paralyze even the bravest warriors—towered over them. His skin, now pitch black, shimmered like obsidian, and the pulsating red markings across his body radiated a terrifying, ancient power. Te and Koby's eyes widened at the sight of the massive horns erupting from Saturn's forehead, spiraling toward the sky like the very embodiment of evil. The transformation was unlike anything they had ever witnessed, and for the first time, true fear gnawed at their insides.
"That… thing," Te muttered, barely audible, his voice laced with disbelief.
Koby clenched his fists tighter, forcing his body to remain standing despite the overwhelming sense of dread flooding his senses. "We need to figure something out fast…"
Before they could even think of a plan, Saturn's crimson eyes zeroed in on them, his monstrous face twisted into a predatory grin. The air itself seemed to quiver under his gaze, and the brothers felt an immense pressure bear down on them as if the very atmosphere had become too dense to breathe.
"You should be proud," Saturn's voice, now deeper and more guttural, rumbled through the air like thunder. "No one from the Four Blues has ever seen me in this form and lived. But your little show of strength ends here."
In a blur of speed far beyond his previous movements, Saturn vanished from sight, reappearing directly in front of Te and Koby before they could react. His massive clawed hand swung down, faster than their eyes could follow.
BOOM!
The ground exploded beneath the brothers as they barely dodged the attack, leaping in opposite directions just in time. The force of the strike created a massive crater, the shockwave sending debris and rubble flying into the air.
"Te, we're not strong enough for this!" Koby shouted, his voice strained as he landed, rolling across the cracked earth..
Te gritted his teeth, his mind racing for a solution. "I know… we need to keep moving—don't let him pin us down!"
But Saturn was relentless. With his newfound form, his speed and strength had multiplied tenfold. He swung his massive arms, each swipe capable of leveling buildings, and the brothers could barely evade by the skin of their teeth. Every time they dodged, another part of the city was reduced to rubble, the ground shattering under the sheer weight of his blows.
Their energy flared once more, combining into a brilliant display of elemental power. Fire, ice, lightning, and wind converged into a swirling maelstrom of destruction. The ground beneath them cracked as they prepared to launch their final assault.
"Elemental Devastation!" they roared, releasing the full force of their combined attack.
A massive beam of destructive energy shot forward, tearing through the air and heading straight for Saturn. The force of the attack obliterated everything in its path, a blinding torrent of elements converging into a single, devastating strike.
The beam collided with Saturn, engulfing him in a violent explosion of elemental fury. The ground shook violently as the attack tore through the battlefield, leaving nothing but chaos in its wake. The city around them was leveled, reduced to rubble in the face of their immense power.
As the dust and debris began to settle, Te and Koby stood firm, their eyes focused on the smoldering crater where Saturn once stood. But as the smoke cleared, a shadow emerged.
Saturn still stood.
His body, though battered and burned, began to heal once again. His red eyes gleamed through the dust, and a cruel smile spread across his monstrous face.
"Impressive," Saturn growled, his voice filled with dark amusement. "But not enough."
Te and Koby's expressions hardened as they watched Saturn's wounds heal in mere moments. His arm, regrown as if it had never been severed, flexed with renewed strength.
Saturn chuckled, his massive frame casting an imposing shadow over the battlefield. "Let me show you what true power looks like."
------
The moment the last traces of dust settled, Saturn moved.
With an explosion of speed, his form blurred. In the blink of an eye, he was upon Te and Koby, his massive claws swinging down with deadly precision. The brothers barely had time to react before Saturn's blow collided with them. The force behind the strike was unfathomable, a tidal wave of pure destructive power that seemed to warp the very air around him.
BOOM!
Te was sent crashing through the air, his body slamming into the ground with enough force to leave a crater in his wake. Koby fared slightly better, but the impact of Saturn's blow still sent him skidding across the cracked earth, his body buckling under the overwhelming pressure.
Before they could regain their footing, Saturn appeared in front of them again, his crimson eyes gleaming with malicious intent. He raised his hand, now cloaked in the dark, pulsating aura of advanced Armament Haki, and slammed it into Te's chest.
The sound of crushing impact echoed through the battlefield.
CRACK!
Te screamed, his bones buckling beneath the force, and he was sent flying back once more. His body crashed into a pile of rubble, unable to stop the momentum of the attack. His breathing ragged, blood trickled from his mouth as he tried to push himself up, but the pain was unbearable.
Koby's heart raced as he watched his brother crumble. His body, already strained from the previous attacks, screamed in agony, but he gritted his teeth, refusing to fall.
Saturn was already in front of him, the ancient demon's claw raised high, poised to deliver the final blow. But just as Saturn's talon came crashing down, Koby's eyes flared with a brilliant, determined light.
With a snap of his fingers, the air around Koby seemed to hum with energy. His eyes glinted as he activated his talent—Mimicry.
CRACKLE!
Koby's body surged with new power as the black-and-purple sheen of Armament Haki enveloped his hands. It was a reflection of Saturn's own advanced Armament, drawn from his own blood and his natural abilities. He'd seen it, felt it, and now he was replicating it, channeling the energy into his own body.
With a roar, Koby thrust his arms forward, his hands slamming into Saturn's descending claw with a bone-shattering force.
BOOM!
The collision rang out like thunder, a shockwave reverberating across the battlefield. The ground trembled beneath the immense clash of Haki, both sides pushing against the other in a desperate test of strength. Koby's arms quivered as the power of Saturn's Haki tried to overwhelm him, but his own advanced Armament Haki held strong, reinforcing his body and pushing back against the god-like strength of Saturn.
He grinned, raising his other claw.
With that, Saturn released a wave of sheer, raw power, sending Koby skidding back. His feet left deep grooves in the ground as he struggled to hold his ground.
Te, though battered, slowly pushed himself up from the rubble, his body protesting with every movement. He watched Koby as his brother clashed with Saturn, each strike reverberating like the roar of a lion. His heart ached seeing his brother in such a dangerous fight, but he knew Koby had more in him than anyone realized.
Saturn took a step back, cracking his neck as he sized up Koby. "Your little mimicry trick isn't enough to match my true strength. Let's see how well you fare against this!"
Without warning, Saturn charged forward, his claws glowing with advanced Armament Haki as they shot toward Koby like a serpent striking its prey. Koby barely had time to react, raising his arms to block the incoming attack. The sheer force of the blow knocked him off balance, his feet dragging through the earth.
But Koby held his ground, his arms now a perfect mirror of Saturn's dark, pulsating Haki, pushing back with every ounce of his strength. He couldn't afford to back down.
CRACK! The sound of Haki-infused strikes colliding filled the air, echoing through the desolate streets as the two powers clashed, leaving destruction in their wake.
Koby gritted his teeth, his body screaming under the pressure, but his determination burned brighter than ever. "I won't... lose..."
Each time Saturn struck, Koby's mimicry ability adapted. He could feel the flow of Haki in his own body, learning, adjusting, and countering. But it wasn't enough to overpower Saturn—not yet.
Saturn's smile grew wider, his eyes gleaming with excitement. "Impressive. But it'll take more than this to defeat me!"
He pressed forward again, his claws dancing around Koby's defenses, aiming for any weakness. Koby parried with all his might, but he knew he had to outthink Saturn, not just overpower him.
BOOM!
Te, now fully back on his feet, joined the fray. He wasn't about to let his brother face this demon alone. He charged in, his own Haki blazing as he flanked Saturn, looking for an opening.
Koby, seeing his brother's move, took the opportunity. He twisted his body, using Saturn's momentum against him. With a roar, he slammed his fists into the demon's side, the combined force of his own advanced Armament and Te's distraction sending Saturn stumbling back, just for a moment.
Koby's mimicry had become a challenge for Saturn, but they weren't out of the woods yet. The fight was far from over.
Saturn growled in frustration, his form crackling with dark energy. "I'll crush you both."
The clash between gods and mortals had only just begun, and no matter how much they learned or adapted, Saturn's power would always be one step ahead. But Koby and Te weren't backing down—this was a fight they couldn't afford to lose.
-----------
The tension in the air was palpable as Te and Koby stood side by side, facing the transformed and monstrous figure of Jaygarcia Saturn. His power radiated with an intensity that threatened to swallow them whole. The island itself seemed to tremble beneath the force of his presence.
Koby glanced at Te, his voice calm but laced with concern. "Te… what are we doing now?"
Te's eyes were sharp, his expression resolute. "I'm ending this. Right now."
Koby's brow furrowed in confusion. "Ending it? What do you mean?"
Te turned to him, his voice low, filled with determination. "I've been holding back. But not anymore. I'm using the nuclear beam—I'll fire it directly at Saturn. It'll either send him flying or end this fight completely. The problem is... the blast will annihilate everything around us. The entire island will be uninhabitable."
Koby's eyes widened, the gravity of the situation hitting him. "You've been holding back? Why didn't you use it earlier?"
"Because of the consequences," Te replied, his voice tinged with regret. "The island, the civilians… everything. But I'm done holding back. It's time to end this."
Koby understood the weight of Te's decision, but his worry still lingered. "You can't be serious. If you do this, we might not even have a place to go afterward."
Te met his brother's gaze, his expression unflinching. "Sometimes, there's no choice. I've got to finish this, Koby. You need to leave now. I'll handle this, but you have to get out of here. There's no way you'll be able to help me after I fire this."
Koby clenched his fists, a mix of frustration and loyalty burning in his eyes. "I'm not leaving you behind, Te. If you're going, I'm going with you."
Te shook his head, his tone growing more serious. "You need to trust me. Get to the ship. I'll make sure we both survive. But you won't be able to handle the aftermath of this. Get ready to leave."
Koby didn't say anything else. He could see the resolve in his brother's eyes. He wasn't going to be able to talk Te out of this. But he wasn't going to leave him to face it alone either.
With a final nod, Koby turned and sprinted off, making his way toward the ship as quickly as possible. The ground seemed to tremble beneath him as Te began to charge up the beam. The very air around them hummed with raw energy.
Te closed his eyes, focusing all of his power. His body began to glow, an aura of immense energy swirling around him as he prepared the nuclear beam. His hands trembled with the intensity of the energy he was gathering. Koby glanced back for a split second, his heart heavy, but he pushed himself faster.
He could feel the weight of what was coming, but there was no turning back.
Te's eyes snapped open, glowing with unyielding resolve. He thrust his hand forward, and a beam of blinding, concentrated energy shot from his palm. The beam tore through the air, leaving a trail of raw destruction in its wake. It was as though the sky itself cracked open, the very fabric of reality warping with the force of the attack. The beam struck Saturn dead-on, engulfing him in an explosion of light and energy.
The sheer power of the blast sent shockwaves rippling through the island, and Koby was thrown off balance, his feet stumbling beneath him as he tried to regain control of his run. The earth buckled beneath the intensity of the blast, and the island seemed to groan in protest, the ground splitting apart.
The massive beam sent Saturn flying backward, his monstrous form tumbling through the air like a ragdoll. The impact created a cataclysmic explosion, a massive cloud of dust and debris rising into the sky. The northern part of the island was obliterated in a flash—buildings, streets, and everything else caught in the blast was wiped out, including the civilians who were unfortunate enough to be caught in the path of destruction.
Koby skidded to a halt as he watched the dust settle, his heart racing. The air was thick with the residual energy, and the ground around him seemed to tremble under the aftershocks of the explosion.
He turned back toward the crater, scanning for any sign of Saturn or Te. The air was still, unnaturally quiet. The damage was catastrophic, the island now nothing more than a barren wasteland in the wake of Te's attack.
Koby's breath hitched. He couldn't tell if Saturn had survived the blast or not, but there was no time to think about that now. He couldn't afford to waste any more time.
He ran back toward the center of the explosion, his chest tight as the radiation from the blast began to seep into the air. The very ground beneath him felt like it was warping under the intense energy still lingering in the air. Koby pushed through it, ignoring the growing heat in his lungs and the pounding in his head.
Then he saw Te.
Te was lying motionless in the aftermath of the blast, his body battered, the energy having drained the last of his strength. The radiation around him was thick, but Koby didn't care. He rushed to his brother's side, kneeling beside him, his hands shaking as he gently cradled Te's body.
"Te…" Koby whispered, his voice hoarse. "Come on, stay with me. Don't do this."
Te's chest rose and fell weakly, his eyes fluttering open, though they were glazed with exhaustion.
"Did it… did it work?" Te rasped, his voice barely a whisper.
"I don't know," Koby replied, swallowing hard. "But I'm not going to let you die here."
With every ounce of strength he had left, Koby lifted Te's limp form into his arms. His legs felt like they were going to buckle beneath him, but he forced himself to stand. The island was gone. The battle was over. He had to get Te to the ship.
Koby stumbled, pushing through the pain, the radiation-heavy air burning in his lungs. He could feel the heat crawling over his skin, but he didn't stop. He couldn't. Not now.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Koby reached the ship. He collapsed onto the deck, his body screaming in pain, but he didn't care. His brother was still alive, and that was all that mattered.
Koby gently laid Te down, his breath ragged. "We made it, Te… We made it."
But as the ship's engines roared to life and they began to leave the devastated island behind, neither of them knew for sure if Saturn had survived the blast. All they knew was that they had made it out, and they were going to keep fighting—no matter what came next.
