Chapter 28 - Chapter 28: The Ambush of Ravrakta

The camp was shrouded in a tense silence, broken only by the soft murmurs of injured warriors. Yash, Aarav, Gurdeep, and Karan were on their way to the Sanctuary's base to recover after the exhausting battle. Meanwhile, Ashwatthama and Takshak had sent the subdued Kaaliya Naag to the camp for treatment, ensuring his fragile condition wouldn't worsen.

Unbeknownst to them, Ravrakta, a powerful rakshasa created from the blood of a fallen general, had been tracking them. Known for his cunning and ruthlessness, Ravrakta had one goal: to avenge his defeat at the hands of Yash and weaken the Sanctuary's alliance by ambushing its key disciples.

As Yash and his companions approached the outskirts of the camp, Ravrakta's forces launched their surprise attack. A barrage of dark energy erupted from the shadows, targeting Aarav and Gurdeep with pinpoint precision. Aarav fought to shield himself, but the sudden onslaught overwhelmed him, while Gurdeep sustained a deep wound to his side.

From a distance, Yash saw the ambush unfold. His heart raced as he shouted, "Aarav! Gurdeep!" He sprinted toward them, cutting down rakshasa soldiers in his path, but he was too far to reach them in time.

Just as the situation seemed dire, Karan appeared, his blade flashing with a fierce brilliance. He struck down the rakshasas surrounding Aarav and Gurdeep and pulled them to safety.

"Karan!" Yash called out. "Take them back to the camp for treatment and warn Ashwatthama and Takshak about the attack!"

Karan nodded. "What about you?"

"I'll hold them off," Yash said firmly, his eyes fixed on Ravrakta, who now stepped into view.

As Karan carried Aarav and Gurdeep toward the camp, Ravrakta chuckled darkly. "I didn't come for them," he said, his crimson eyes locking onto Yash. "I came for you."

Yash, though fatigued, couldn't resist smirking. "For me? Sorry, but I don't swing that way."

Ravrakta's face twisted in fury. "You dare mock me? You'll regret those words!"

The battle began with Ravrakta lunging at Yash, his claws slashing through the air with deadly precision. Yash parried the attack, but his movements were slower than usual, his body still worn from the earlier battles.

Despite his exhaustion, Yash fought with determination, cutting through Ravrakta's soldiers while exchanging fierce blows with the rakshasa leader. Ravrakta, however, held the upper hand, his attacks growing more relentless as he sensed Yash's fatigue.

"You're strong, but you're running out of energy," Ravrakta sneered. "Let me show you the power of true vengeance!"

As Yash tried to catch his breath, Ravrakta unleashed his final form. Dark energy engulfed him, and his body grew to a towering 10 meters, his muscles bulging with unholy power. His voice thundered across the battlefield. "Behold my true strength! I am Ravrakta, the scourge of your Sanctuary!"

Yash looked up at the monstrous figure and tightened his grip on his blade. Despite his exhaustion, his smirk returned. "Big talk for someone who's about to lose."

Closing his eyes, Yash began to chant the ancient Sanskrit verses he had mastered in secret. A golden aura enveloped him, and his weapon transformed, radiating divine energy. When he opened his eyes, they shone with a brilliance that matched his resolve.

Ravrakta roared and charged, his massive fists smashing into the ground. Yash leaped into the air, his newfound agility allowing him to evade the devastating attack. With a burst of energy, he countered, delivering a series of precise strikes imbued with sacred power.

The ground shook beneath them as their battle raged on. Ravrakta's monstrous strength clashed against Yash's divine technique, sending shockwaves across the battlefield. The rakshasa leader's confidence began to waver as he realized he couldn't overpower Yash's relentless assault.

With one final chant, Yash gathered all his energy into a single, decisive strike. "This is the end, Ravrakta!" he shouted, his blade descending in a blinding arc of golden light.
