Upon entering the main gate of the city, it looks pleasant like you have gone to another world.
Guards with swords were standing at the front gate and some people wearing robes like wizards from a fantasy world. Archers with bows in their hands and a bag of arrows on their backs, standing at the top of the wall, looking like they are waiting for an enemy to appear.
Upon entering through the gate, there is a market with fewer people there. Then the other places.
*Clang* *Clang* *Clang*. Armor being hammered and the sound of hammering is being echoed throughout tthe smithing district.
A blacksmith smacks someone on the head and says:
"First turn the heat on you bastards, how are you even going to smell the iron? *sigh* What the hell will I do with all you veterans".
"Fruits! Fresh and sweet!". The fruit vendor called out, trying to draw the attention of passersby.
Beggars going here and there asking for some spare change. While some were sitting at the corner of the road, looking for food and praying to live another day.
The Nobles were looking at the Beggars with their eyes full of disgust. When the Beggars ask for some money, or some food.
A person who was walking in the streets suddenly stopped, and after looking at the sky he said:
"This world is just unfair and the worst". Saying that the young man who appears to be an 18-year-old continues walking.
*Ding-ding*, the door opens and the receptionist greets the customer. It appeared to be an inn.
The customer walks to her and says to the receptionist:
"Can I have a job at the inn".
The receptionist replied:
"Why not sir, but you know what, we are a little short on money, and because of that we can not pay you well".
After hearing that, he said:
"I can work here without payment, but you just have to give me a room to live in. Can you make that happen".
Saying that, he looked at the eyes of the receptionist with hope of making the receptionist agree to talk to the manager for him.
Saying that, she left.
After some time, she came and asked him to follow her to the manager's room. He willingly follows her.
They enter a room with a person sitting on a chair and doing some paper work on his desk. He appeared to be a 40-year-old man with a fit body and a face covered in scars. The receptionist introduced the manager to him, saying that he was also the owner of the hunter guild.
The manager told him to sit in the chair which was opposite to his own.
He, with a calmed expression, walked towards the chair, and as he sat on the chair the room was enveloped in silence. No one said a single word, but for some reason the manager became surprised.
The reason was not clear. But after a while the manager spoke and said:
"You truly are amazing" and asked him to work as a mercenary. He refused, and while smirking he said:
"I just want to work so..." but the receptionist stopped him, saying he had come to apply as a worker at the inn.
The manager looked and asked him for his name, and he replied:
"My name is Aetheris and you had better remember it."
