Athena choked on her food, coughing so hard that her sides ached greatly. She dropped the food on the bed and held her sides as if to quell the pain. How could she have forgotten the impact of the car accident on her body? But would one blame her? Hearing the names of those devilish twins was enough to do that to anyone.
"Athena, what's the problem?" Gianna asked, handing her a bottle of water, at a loss with the children, who had long abandoned their food and hurried toward their mother when she started coughing.
"Did you just say Matthew and Mary?" Athena asked after taking a gulp of water. "They are supposed to be countries away. How are they here, in this city?"
Gianna's brow furrowed. "Didn't you hear me earlier? Ewan sent them. Do you know them?"
