Layla arrived in the restaurant, which her father had mentioned. Her father had arrived at the same time and exited from the car parked ahead hers. Her eyes landed on her mother, who also stepped out of the car, followed by Orabela.
She frowned to see her entire family and wondered what exactly was going on.
"Didn't you mention your father wanted you to meet an important client?" Lucius asked as he stood by her side.
"Because that's what Dad told me," Layla whispered.
"Seems like your family is quite adamant of not improving at all," Lucius murmured. He sensed his wife was hurt because she gave them a chance to change. And what bothered him seeing Orabela with Layla's parents.
"Layla! We are glad you came with Lucius here," Miriam said as she approached them with a smile.
