"Welcome home!" Alekis greeted warmly, his vibrant smile lighting up the frosty evening as he stood just outside the grand mansion, eagerly awaiting Lucius and Layla's arrival. Behind him, Fiona and Roderick stood silently.
"Father, it's freezing out here. You shouldn't be standing in the cold," Lucius said with gentle concern, his brows knitting as he stepped forward.
"Nonsense, I'm perfectly fine," Alekis replied with a reassuring smile. He moved closer and placed a affectionate hand on Lucius's back, guiding him toward the entrance.
Together, the group made their way inside.
