Chapter 137 - To hurl insults

Lucius peppered soft kisses across Layla's face, his lips grazing her forehead, her cheeks, and even the tip of her nose. His touch made her giggle, which sounded light and melodic. "You seduce me at the wrong times, in the wrong places," he murmured, his lips brushing against her temple.

Layla, still giggling, placed her hands gently on his chest, pushing him away just enough to catch her breath. "Then should I stop doing that?" she teased in a playful tone.

"No," Lucius replied firmly as he tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear. "I like it. Don't ever stop doing that," he whispered, his breath warm against her ear, sending a shiver down her spine.

Layla smiled, her cheeks flushing. "By the way, I have something to tell you, Lucius," she said, her tone shifting slightly to something serious.

His expression turned serious too. "What is it?" he asked, searching her eyes for any signs of worry.
