Maria's spell was nearing its end as a storm began to gather in the distance. Dark clouds started to cluster outside the apartment window, and the first drops of rain began to fall, wetting the glass.
"It's starting," Maria said, her voice full of concentration. "Get ready."
Mike felt adrenaline coursing through his body as the plan began to unfold. He knew the risks, but he couldn't let fear hold him back. Livy's fate, and possibly more, hung in the balance. "Stay alert, everyone," he said, gripping his sword tightly. "This could get ugly."
The storm outside intensified, lightning flashing across the sky. The air was charged with Maria's magic and Seraphina's light.
Seraphina stepped forward, her eyes closed as she focused on the dark energy of Lessgoo. "I've found him," she whispered. "He's near the old cathedral, but… something's off. There's another presence."
Mike tensed. "Another presence? Danger?"
