Every year, as the end of autumn drew near and the first frost dusted the earth, the kingdoms celebrated the Festival of Spirits—a night dedicated to the playful and mischievous spirits who roamed freely, bringing laughter, pranks, and a little bit of mayhem. The entire realm of Jove embraced this tradition with glee, with people of all ages donning costumes to confuse and delight the spirits, who, it was said, would only reveal themselves to those who seemed like one of their own.
For Lumi, it was her first time celebrating the Festival of Spirits away from home, and she was both excited and a little nervous. While the celebration had always been a quiet affair in the Frost Mountains, the Kingdom of Rivers had its own grand traditions, filled with games, magical displays, and mountains of sweet treats.
