Chapter 86 - Chapter 86: Busy Is Better

Naruto's chakra control wasn't weak to begin with. You could tell just from how quickly he learned techniques like the Rasengan, Sage Mode, and Rasengan Shuriken.

When Naruto doesn't have the tailed beast chakra messing with him, that's when he's the real Naruto.

He may not have Sakura's or Tsunade's control, but his chakra is still enough to rival Shizune's. Plus, Naruto's chakra is huge, and with Kurama's chakra supporting him, completing the Yin Seal in a year would definitely be no problem.

Not to mention, this jutsu was originally made for the Uzumaki clan. The Uzumaki are naturally good at chakra control, so even if they don't have control as impressive as Sakura's, they can still master the Yin Seal in a short time.

Of course, solving the chakra and control issues is one thing, but the real problem comes after that.

That's right, the sealing jutsu.

Naruto probably forgot about this part. When he heard Kurama's words, he got excited and immediately made a fist, looking at Tsunade.

"I want to learn!"

Tsunade didn't know what Naruto and Kurama had discussed, but since Naruto wanted to learn, she'd teach him. It wasn't a big deal.

She nodded. "Alright, for now, you'll learn chakra control from me. In your spare time, go talk to Jiraiya about the basics of sealing jutsu. Once you understand the basics, I'll teach you how to make a 'pool'."

"No problem!" Naruto agreed without hesitation.

Training was everything. Nothing was more important than that!

Oh, wait.

Naruto scratched the back of his head and grinned. "Granny Tsunade, can you help heal my body?"

Tsunade suddenly realized. If Naruto hadn't said anything, she would have almost forgotten that he was still injured. It was all because he kept using the tailed beast chakra for reckless things, making her forget that his body couldn't properly handle chakra yet.

That said, how could he keep using tailed beast chakra with such serious injuries? Was he not afraid of dying?

Despite being frustrated, Tsunade still needed to treat Naruto. His body was in bad shape—worse than when he left the village. It was all because he kept using Kurama's chakra over the past while.

After that, nothing much happened. It was just Tsunade making Naruto learn the Yin Seal

or getting him to study sealing jutsu.

Since Tsunade got over her fear of blood, she started treating Naruto's body. Although she always knocked him out with anesthesia, when he woke up and saw a bed covered in blood, it was still pretty shocking.

Can you imagine the scene? Tsunade and Shizune smiling as they drag Naruto into a room, knock him out with anesthesia, and when he wakes up, Shizune is cleaning up the medical tools with a satisfied expression while Tsunade sits nearby drinking.

Every time Naruto woke up, all he saw was blood. If it wasn't for his body actually healing, he'd really start wondering what Tsunade and Shizune were doing to him.

When he asked Kurama, the fox gave him a complex look and said, "It's better if you don't know."

This left Naruto terrified of Tsunade. If he didn't feel like his body was actually recovering, he'd probably run away to the pervy sage.

A little over a week had passed, and they were preparing to head back to the village. Tsunade had also confirmed she would take on the role of the Fifth Hokage, which was a good thing, though Naruto had no idea when Tsunade had made the decision with Jiraiya.

The night before they were set to leave, Kurama suddenly pulled Naruto, who had been lying on the bed reviewing the basics of sealing jutsu, into the sealing space.

Naruto, confused, asked, "What's up, Kurama?"

Kurama's expression was a bit serious: "Naruto, you know, every bird must eventually fly. It's hard to let go, but I have to make this painful decision to release my grip and let you soar freely!"

Though Kurama looked serious, his tone was full of emotion, leaving Naruto with a puzzled look on his face.

Kurama, seeing Naruto's confusion, slowly continued, "What I mean is, you stay here while I go out to buy some oranges... ah, I mean, go out to find ways to get stronger."

"You need to get stronger?" Naruto blinked, surprised.

In his memory, there was no one stronger than Kurama; Naruto had always thought Kurama was the strongest being in the world. And now, Kurama was saying he needed to get stronger?

Naruto gasped.

"I'm still too weak," Kurama said, lowering his head to look at Naruto. "To face that guy, I need to raise my power beyond that of all the tailed beasts. Right now, what I need is to gather chakra from all the other tailed beasts."

When Kurama said "all the tailed beasts," he was not just referring to the nine-tailed beasts but also the Ten Tails.

Naruto froze. This was the first time Kurama had clearly told him what he needed to do. Naruto scratched the back of his head. "Then go for it. I believe in you."

Kurama smiled slightly.

"I know you do, but I still need to tell you, and this time, I'll need your help."

"No problem." Naruto nodded without hesitation. "How can I help?"

"Just like last time, use Shadow Clones and keep it a secret from Tsunade and Jiraiya," Kurama said.

"The jutsu I need to learn can't be known by anyone, no one at all. After I return, I'll take you to a place where I'll raise my strength to a level above the Hokage, and I'll help you reach a level where you can be called a Hokage yourself."

To be honest, excluding injury and Kurama's chakra, Naruto's strength would be somewhere between Genin and Chunin level. If he learned Adamantine Sealing Chains, the Yin Seal, and Rasengan, his strength could reach Special Jonin level.

With Kurama's chakra, Naruto could match a Jonin in battle, but to be called Hokage, it wasn't just about battle power—it involved tactics, insight, leadership, and other factors. But as far as pure fighting power, Kurama could already be considered on par with a Hokage.

Back to the point, Kurama had sensed the power of the Eight-Tails, Gyuki, from a distance. He planned to communicate with Gyuki, meet up in the evening, and then head straight to Turtle Island. There, he would learn the Eight-Tails' Tail Severing Clone Jutsu.

So, right now, he needed Naruto's Shadow Clones for support.

Naruto nodded and got up from the bed. He sneaked a glance at the people in the next room and then quietly formed the hand seals. "Ninja Art: Shadow Clone Jutsu!"

His body had started to recover over the past week. Although he still couldn't use chakra normally, using a little of Kurama's chakra didn't cause him any pain and wouldn't worsen his injuries.

With a puff of smoke, another Naruto appeared beside him. The shadow clone's body gradually started to take on a tailed beast-like form, surrounded by red chakra.
