The current state of the battle was dire—both sides bore grave injuries, yet they rapidly healed, as if time itself couldn't keep up with their fury.
"Alright then, children, you wounded me, but that isn't going to change anything," Genesis said, a twisted smile curling on his lips. "We could keep fighting for eternity, and you three would remain trapped within my existence."
"We know," replied Leviathan, his voice steady as his wounds closed before their eyes. "And that's why we prepared a wild card."
"Oh really? What is it?" Genesis asked, a hint of curiosity seeping into his voice.
Leviathan exchanged a glance with Behemoth and Ziz, who nodded back. With a snap of his fingers, a spatial tear ripped open before them. From the breach, he pulled out a small, sleeping creature. It resembled a dragon, but its body was adorned with feathers instead of scales. A long, beautiful mane flowed down its neck, and a crown of spiraling horns adorned its head. Three pairs of wings lay folded against its delicate form.
Genesis stared at the creature, perplexed. "This... this little thing is your wild card?" Suspicion laced his words.
Leviathan smirked, gently stroking the creature's soft feathers before pointing a claw at its tiny chest. "Say hello to..." Leviathan whispered, as energy flowed from him into the creature.
As soon as the transfer was complete, the creature's eyes snapped open, and a deafening heartbeat reverberated throughout the universe. The sound was so powerful that some of the weaker gods immediately perished, their souls obliterated, leaving no trace of their existence.
Those who survived convulsed on the ground, overwhelmed by the turbulent energy. Even Genesis was taken aback by the phenomenon.
"What is that thing?" he demanded, a rare trace of uncertainty in his voice.
Leviathan, Behemoth, and Ziz smiled in unison.
"The Primordial Heart!"
They announced together.
The creature floated into the air, its heartbeat continuing to resonate with such force that it caused both natural and supernatural events to unfold across the cosmos.
The Primordials then placed their hands on the creature, channeling their energy into it. The creature let out a cry—a sound both childlike and powerful—as a rainbow-colored light burst forth from its body, enveloping the three Primordials.
The light intensified, and within its glow, their forms began to merge, growing larger and more formidable. When the light finally dissipated, a towering figure stood before Genesis—a humanoid being, 100 meters tall, with scales covering its body, two horns on its head, long flowing hair, three pairs of wings, and a beautiful yet fierce face. Behind it, an enormous heart, pulsing with power, floated like a guardian spirit.
The creature examined its new form before raising a hand, its voice now a harmonious blend of three.
"ARMAMENT!" it commanded.
In an instant, golden armor materialized, encasing its entire body except for its face, giving it a majestic, almost divine appearance.
With its hand still raised, the entity called out, "WORLD DEVOURER!" and Leviathan's spear appeared.
"DEFYING END!" Ziz's bow manifested.
"LAW BREAKER!" Behemoth's sword emerged.
"Merge!" the entity commanded.
The three weapons fused together, melting into one another until they formed a single spear, radiating an ancient, overwhelming power.
"You shall now be called 'ORIGIN BREAKER,'!" the entity declared, holding the spear aloft. The weapon pulsed with life, as if rejoicing at its new name.
The merged Primordials smiled softly, turning to face Genesis. "We are ready, Father," they said in unison. Behind them, the heart's beating grew faster, its power intensifying in response to the coming battle.
Genesis threw his head back and laughed, his body expanding to match theirs at 100 meters. Conjuring his own armor and sword, he pointed the blade at them. "Show me the might of my finest creation!" he roared.
The entity's smile widened as they assumed a combat stance. "Gladly," they responded, their voice echoing like a chorus of warriors.
For a moment, silence fell across the battlefield, and then, in a blur of motion, they charged at Genesis.
Just as the clash was about to unfold, Ren felt himself being pulled away from that space, leaving the outcome unseen.
