The boy was still on the ground when Teacher Julius announced, "Sirius is the winner!"
Sirius sighed as he unclapsed his hands, the sword falling to the floor. He walked over to his opponent, the boy groveling before him. "Are you okay? I hope it doesn't hurt too much." Sirius asked, extending his hand to help the boy up.
The boy gave a bitter smile as he glanced at Sirius, whose face was half-hidden behind thick, heavy-framed glasses. "It kinda hurts more for you to ask that, considering you're the one who kicked me," he said wryly, but still accepted Sirius's offer. Sirius easily pulled him to his feet.
Sirius grinned sheepishly. "Sorry about that. Sometimes I just can't control my strength, you know?"
The boy nodded, rubbing his sore shoulder. They seemed to have ended the fight on good terms, and Teacher Julius made note of this, smiling to himself as he called up the next match.
