Astaroth stopped himself from falling any further as he shot out a string of electric silk and wrapped it around an ancient tree multiple times.
As his body jolted and swung around the tree, he cut the electric string and slingshotted himself to the awakening boss monster. An intense tension unfurled between the two of them as Astaroth bared his bloody fangs, and the boss monster opened its mouth full of sharp teeth.
The boss monster struck first, calmly swiping out its large right wing.
"!!!"
Astaroth just barely evaded that attack with his life on the line.
One of his legs had been severed in half, but he didn't need that leg to continue functioning at maximum capacity. Activating the lightning element, he focused it on his severed leg and rebuilt what had been lost.
