Chapter 3 - III

His eyes moved to the wardrobe filled with scattered clothes, and beside it, some old family photos placed haphazardly. "It's like time stopped here," he said quietly, feeling a suffocating loneliness surrounding him. "Is this the future that I was afraid of?"

His thoughts oscillated between despair and hope, as if he was trying to find meaning amidst the chaos. "I need answers!," he whispered to himself, gazing at the dark ceiling. "Maybe this tattoo is the key to everything happening."

He lay down slowly on the bed, staring into the darkness enveloping the room. As his eyes drifted into the realm of dreams, he found himself once again in that mysterious dimension he had visited before. The dense fog wrapped around him, and transparent entities began to approach him slowly.

"Where am I now?" Alex whispered, as a strange coldness seeped into his body. The entities hovered around him, their presence shrouded in mystery, but they did not seem threatening. Their voices were soothing despite their indistinctness, as if trying to comfort him.

he felt a mix of fear and comfort at the same time. Fear of the unknown, but also comfort in the presence of these entities. "Are they trying to approach me?" he wondered anxiously, trying to calm himself.

However, as the entities drew closer, he began to feel some tranquility in their presence, despite the uncertainty of their intentions. "If they are here, maybe they are here in peace , i hope so..." he said to himself, trying to confront his mixed emotions.

As he navigated through the shades of this strange dimension, an ethereal entity approached him slowly. The being was vague, emitting a faint light similar to the shimmer of stars in the night sky. Its features were unclear, but the aura it radiated was both mysterious and comforting. Its voice was soft, like a gentle breeze brushing past Alex's ear.

"Hello, Alex..." said the entity in a voice carrying a strange reassurance. "You are now in the "Far space", you can think about it as another country or something ."

Alex listened to the entity with a mixture of awe and curiosity. "What is this place? Why am I here? And how do you know my name? Who are you?" he asked in a trembling voice, trying to understand what was happening.

"This place is a bridge between dimensions," the entity replied, gesturing to their surroundings. "The specters you see here are different versions of yourself from parallel worlds and timelines. We are here to help you understand your new abilities."

Alex felt a rising fear within him, as if reality had become beyond his grasp. "My new abilities?" he asked, trying to piece together the events.

"The tattoo on your arm is a key to unlocking new powers within you," the entity explained. "It is also a symbol of your ability to interact with quantum dimensions. Now, you can intersect with multiple worlds, but your control will be limited at first. This place, and these entities, are part of those powers."

Conflicting emotions swirled inside him, as fear and curiosity battled in his mind. "If you are here, what should I do ? I can't understand" he asked, seeking guidance.

"Listen to the signs we send you," said the entity in a comforting tone. "Every experience you have here will help you develop your abilities and understand the mystery surrounding you..."

As the entity faded into the fog, Alex felt a mix of astonishment and anxiety, with questions still crowding his mind. "I need to learn how to use these abilities, but he doesn't give me any useful information" he whispered to himself, as Alex tried to grasp what the ethereal being had said. Another entity approached him, very different from the first. This being exuded a greater sense of dread, its dark color and unsettling glow making Alex shiver. Its voice was rough, carrying a clear weight and power.

"Alex..." said the entity in a deep, terrifying voice, filling the space with fear. "The tattoo you bear will appear to others as a mere mark, but for you, it has a different meaning."

Alex lifted his gaze toward the entity, stunned by what he was hearing. "What do you mean?" he asked anxiously, trying to understand the nature of this tattoo.

"The symbols on the tattoo are not fixed," the entity explained in a mysterious tone. "You will see them move, revealing specific tasks and missions for you. They will also reflect your level of abilities, but no one other than you can see or read this."

Alex felt increasing unease, trying to absorb the details. "And what is the connection of you,the other entities to this?"

"The entities you see here are versions of yourself from other worlds or timelines," said the entity with a piercing gaze. "These versions are from destruction and collapse. Each entity is a version of you that lived under different circumstances and either perished or faded away including me , you can think about us as a spirit or ghost. We are here to help you avoid our fate. "

The words echoed in Alex's mind, and he felt a heavy burden on his shoulders. "Why me? Why did I receive these powers and responsibilities?"

"Because you have the chance to change your fate," the entity answered in a calmer voice. "The tattoo, and the abilities you discover, are your tools to better understand yourself and overcome the challenges you may face."

Alex felt immense pressure, as if everything was closing in on him. "How can I handle all of this?"

"Follow the symbols that will appear to you," said the entity as it began to fade. "And be cautious with every step you take. Your fate depend only on your decisions so you should be wise alex..."

As the entity disappeared into the fog, Alex's feelings were a mix of fear of the unknown and a sense of immense responsibility. "What was that? If what they said is true, then I must learn how to handle these abilities... and the responsibility that comes with them," he whispered to himself, preparing to return to his world, his mind filled with questions and terrifying thoughts.

Alex woke up feeling disoriented and anxious. He went straight to the mirror in his room and looked at the tattoo on his arm. He now knew that it wasn't just an inscription but a key to understanding himself and his abilities, and that it carried a responsibility greater than merely staying alive. As Alex examined the strange tattoo on his arm, he noticed that its details were not static; they moved and changed continuously. He stared at the tattoo intently, trying to understand what was happening. It wasn't just an ordinary mark but something much more significant.

"What's going on here?" Alex muttered as phrases and symbols formed before his eyes on his skin. Slowly, the message began to become clear, as if the tattoo was speaking directly to him.

"This… is this possible?" Alex said with a trembling voice, feeling a surge of awe and terror. It was hard for him to believe what his eyes were seeing. These abilities… "I'll be able to open gateways to other dimensions?" His voice wavered between doubt and curiosity, trying to grasp what these words meant.

"And also… reshaping reality? Manipulating probabilities?" he said, running his fingers over the tattoo, astonished that this strange mark could grant him all these abilities. "Why me? Why did I get all this?" he asked himself, but he found no clear answer.

As his thoughts flowed, he noticed another instruction clearly appearing on the tattoo, as if outlining the next steps for him: "The tattoo will assign you tasks to help you develop. Upon completing these tasks, the entities will be indebted to you with information or rewards."

"Tasks? Entities indebted to me?" Alex repeated, unsure of what awaited him in the future. But he felt a tremendous pressure building on his shoulders. "Is this the only way to advance?" he whispered softly, yet a new feeling began to form within him, a mix of caution and hope.

"It seems I'm at the beginning of something new… but it's filled with dangers." Alex said slowly, trying to sort out his thoughts. "I need to learn how to use these abilities… and seize every opportunity in front of me."

As he watched the tattoo move on his arm, he felt a rush of adrenaline in his veins, as if his body was reacting to the new power he now possessed. "Alright…" he murmured with determination, "I won't waste this chance."

When Alex's senses returned after discovering his new abilities, the hope filling his heart was tinged with caution. For the first time in a long while, he felt a glimmer of optimism creeping into his dark life. But those feelings did not last long.

Suddenly, colors exploded as if from a massive bomb, and Alex appeared in the midst of the glowing rift. He stared at the camera with a mischievous grin, as if he were about to perform a comedy routine. He turned around, observing the blank page as if it had opened a gateway to another world. He was astonished to see your face, "the reader," watching with interest.

"Oh, welcome to our special show!" Alex shouted loudly, then burst into laughter. "Now, it's time to break the fourth wall in a unique style! Remember, I'm more than just a fictional character. I'm here to prove it to you!"

Alex smirked, his eyes wide in mock surprise. "You think my life is just a show? Well, let me show you something exciting! This writer, yes, that annoying being! Do you know what's the best part? He enjoys throwing me into problems and turning my life into a big battlefield! All he does is take pleasure in watching Alex tumble from one disaster to another, as if I'm just a clown in an arrogant circus!"

Alex mocked as he directed his anger towards the supposed writer, his face contorted with rage. "You know, you damn writer, do you feel joy when you see your characters suffer? Do you enjoy watching our struggles as if we're mere chess pieces in your annoying game? How arrogant you are! Do you think our suffering is just a flavor for your monotonous story?"

Then, as the colors of the rift slowly faded, Alex shouted with all his might, "If this is all you have to offer, I'm here to tell you one thing. My story will be more than just a painful memory! I will turn this suffering into an unforgettable experience. I will make every moment tell an epic tale, making you wondering what's happening here!"

With an explosion of invisible power, Alex vanished from the blank page and returned to his own world. He was surrounded by a shroud of darkness and mist, shouting at you amidst the chaos, "My story will be etched in memory! Don't expect that this will be our last meeting . I will make every moment here tell its own tale beyond the limits of imagination!just wait..."
