"Please tell me you are not about to watch a romance movie," Ryan said as he frowned at the TV.
Eliana laughed at him and said, "You and I are the same age so why are you acting like an old man who got his heart broken?"
"Last I check, I'm older than you with months," Ryan said.
Eliana rolled her eyes and said, "It's just two months, get over yourself."
"Four months darling, get the fact right," Ryan replied with a smile.
"Whatever. And you can get that frown off your face because I'm not watching a romance movie. I want to watch the latest season of Demon Slayer."
"Oh no, I can't believe my brother got mixed up with an anime fan girl," Ryan said with a horrified look on his face.
Eliana burst into laughter and replied "Too bad because nothing can be done about it. Your brother is going to be stuck with me for life."
Ryan chuckled and said, "I feel pity for him."
Eliana laughed with disbelief and threw a pillow at him which he easily caught and laughed at her failed attempt.
Ryan sighed and said, "Are you nervous about the wedding?"
"A little. Zach will be back tomorrow, and I will practically be getting married the next day after that, so I know it definitely wouldn't be the best wedding ever. Also, my parents returned my invitation."
"Why? Are they still upset about you marrying Zach instead of Amber?"
Eliana shook her head and said, "It's not just that. My dad wants me to convince Zach to merge Vince Entertainment and TM Entertainment and only after the contract has been signed will he talk to me and walk me down the aisle."
"Have you asked Zach?" Ryan asked.
"I haven't asked him, and I don't intend to. I don't mind walking down the aisle myself." Eliana said with a shrug.
"No way, not when you have a cool brother-in-law like me. If you don't mind, I can walk you walk you down the aisle." Ryan said.
"Really?" Eliana asked excitedly
"Of course, I don't mind."
Eliana smiled and said, "I would like that."
"But I still say that Jason guy is in love with you," Ryan said snatching the remote from her hand to change the channel. He wondered how she enjoyed something that didn't even speak English.
Eliana felt too tired to drag the remote with him and just thought to herself that it wasn't possible, there was no way Jason was in love with her, absolutely no way.

Moore Mansion
While her parents talked about business, Amber played with her food as she thought of the humiliation she went through on set. Everyone who knew about her failed engagement didn't spare a chance to mock her. All those who treated her nicely because they thought she was going to be the daughter-in-law of the Sanders family no longer spare her a glance, everything has now become ruined because of Eliana. Why did that old woman even have to search for her?
"Amber, what's wrong? Why aren't you eating?" Sloane asked.
"I'm just not hungry," Amber replied. She looked at her father, whom she still hasn't forgiven for slapping her, and asked, "May I be excused?"
Henry sighed and just nodded his head.
Sloane watched as Amber left the dining room and said, "This is all your fault. You believed that girl, and now you have ruined your relationship with your daughter, your only daughter who would never betray you."
"Stop talking, Sloane, I'm not in the mood for your nonsense tonight," Henry said and continued his dinner.
"Eliana sent her wedding invitations to us, and of course, I sent them back."
Henry glared at his wife as he asked "You did what?"
"Why are you looking at me like that? Were you planning to go to the wedding?"
"We are her parents. You want us to not attend our daughter's wedding?"
"A daughter that has brought nothing but shame and disgrace to us, or haven't you been hearing people whispers? Besides, how will people see us if they find out that we attended our adopted daughter's wedding to a man our biological daughter was supposed to get married to? We will lose our respect." Sloane shouted angrily.
Henry slammed his spoon on the table and said "I have lost my appetite."
"The sooner you realize that Eliana fooled you the better. TM Entertainment will not merge with Vince Entertainment because if that merge was going to happen, then you would have heard from Zach by now." Sloane said.
Henry knew that was true. Did Eliana deceive him? Will she allow TM Entertainment to go bankrupt? He turned to his wife and asked, "Do you have a better way of making Eliana work faster?"
Sloane smiled and said "Of course I have a better way. Give me twenty-four hours to work my magic."

A man dressed in a suit softly opened the door and slowly walked towards the figure sleeping on the bed. He smiled as he saw her sleeping face and whispered "My Eli, you look so beautiful in your sleep. I tried so hard to push you away, but you just kept resisting, and now you aren't allowed to leave me. No matter what happens henceforth, I will never let you go."
