"My mom will soon be here and I don't want you hovering around," Amber said to the house help.
"Yes, ma." The middle age woman replied and got ready to leave the house. Whenever Amber's mother was coming, she was always asked to leave the house as if they were going to hold a secret agent meeting.
Twenty minutes later, the doorbell rang, and Amber rushed to open the door, immediately, she saw her mother, and she hugged her tightly. "I missed you, Mom."
Sloane chuckled as she replied "But we saw each other a week ago."
"Come sit, I will go make you your favorite tea," Amber said as she led Sloane to the living room.
Sloane held her hand and said "Sit with me. I am not in the mood for tea. Where is the maid?"
"I sent her out. Ever since that incident with the last house help, I no longer trust any of them."
