"So, can you find a healer?"
She went straight to the point, her calm expression still there, but the faint expectation flickering in her purple eyes shows that she wasn't as calm as she looks.
Madden was silent for a moment before he slowly shook his head, making her shoulder slumped together.
"You don't know?"
Madden nodded and explained. "Your Highness, you could imagine how rare a healer was, there might be one lurking out there of course, but we don't have a way to tell if someone was a healer."
Evangeline closed her eyes to conceal her disappointment as she took in a deep breath and waved her hand.
"Just try your best to find one please."
Madden bowed and retreated and as Evangeline looked at the man on the bed, she felt her heart empty and aching in despair.
"When are you going to wake up? Uh?" She looked at his tightly closed eyes and sigh as he gaze went to his eyelashes.
