Kaleb paused mid-swing, his blade hovering in the air for a brief moment before he smoothly slid it back into its sheath.
The figure gave him a curious look, sizing him and his weapons up with interest.
"Those are some impressive blades," he remarked, his gaze lingering on the twin swords.
Shock rippled through him, momentarily stealing his voice.
"...You?" Kaleb muttered, struggling to hide his surprise.
The figure's lips curled into a half-smile. "Didn't expect to run into me again, did you?"
"No, I didn't," he admitted, "Thanks for the help earlier by the way"
"It's no issue."
"I never got your name"
"It's Victor, but most people call me Vic"
"Alright Vic, my name's Kaleb"
Victor glanced down at the swords hanging from Kaleb's hips. "You handle those well," he said, his tone casual, but with a spark of interest behind his words. "Not the usual weapons for a mercenary, are they?"
