Renna glanced over her shoulder, with an unreadable expression that twitched into an amused smile.
"Why ask when you know the answer Bryce?"
Bryce placed a and on his temple and let out an exasperated sigh.
"What are you scheming now, Renna?"
Her smile widened, and she turned to face him fully, the flames reflecting in her sharp eyes.
"What's the rush, Bryce? A little patience can go a long way you know."
Bryce looked in the direction of the massive beast.
"But what about that thing?"
Renna stepped forward, placing a hand on his shoulder as she stood side by side with Bryce.
"We'll get to it don't you worry. Right now there is an amazing opportunity that lies lies elsewhere."
Bryce frowned, his instincts as someone that has known this woman for years screaming and warning him that whatever she was planning, it was going to be a pain to deal with. If not now, it would still comeback to bit them.
