772 years ago, the entire planet Earth was on the verge of extinction. Luckily, scientists all over the world had already found out about the existence of another Earthlike planet that is much more peaceful than Earth called Aetheris. This mysterious planet coincidentally appeared when the Earth was on the verge of destruction.
In the span of 4 months, scientists built spaceships to bring 80% of mankind to the second planet, leaving the rest to die on Earth because it ran out of resources. Strangely enough, after humans arrive on their new home, they all unlock something called 'System'. Everyone was shocked because something like this could only happen in a fictional world. But since this genre was familiar to the otakus, they quickly understood ropes.
A month later, gates were found. Otaku warned everyone to not go inside. A few days later, due to high mana concentration near the portal, monsters start to break out and destroy some buildings.
In the midst of chaos, the first person ever to awaken their talent was a Kala Viras. He unlocked it while running away from a monster, his talent is 'Super Speed' a B-Class talent. 6 years later he evolved his B-Class talent to become an S-Class 'Speedster'. For some reason, while on a mission he disappeared.
Talents can be obtained when your stat reaches a certain requirement which is having 5 points in Strength, Endurance, Agility, Stamina. A person's talent closely represents their personality. Talents have two stages. The first stage is awakened, that's when a person unlocks their talent. The second stage is super-awakened, this can be obtained by doing an exclusive quest given by the system.

It had been 542 years since mankind stepped foot on this new planet. Thanks to the technology from the spaceships, scientists managed to rebuild society in 2024. There are currently only 5 countries: America, Japan, Korea, Spain, and Russia.
Today is a special day, it's Kael's 19th birthday. After a few minutes runs to America's Awakening Cooperation, a place where people come to use their talent and be graded, he unlocks his talent called 'Super regeneration'

Seeing this, Kael is extremely excited and immediately walks over to the receptionist and asks her to grade his talent.
"What's your talent sir?"
"Super Regeneration."

After a few minutes of surveys and questioning, the result came in, to Kael's disappointment his talent is only at B-Class because of the drawbacks.
Sad by the result, Kael goes to the Hunter's Application room to apply and becomes a hunter. Upon entering the room, he's surprised to see that there are a lot of people inside. He didn't expect there to be much at this time of the day.
Sitting down, Kael greets the person next to him but they look away. Annoyed, he calms down and takes his phone out to waste time. 2 hours later, it's his turn so he goes inside and does the test.
Infront of Kael are two people, a male and a female, they are both dressed formally.
"Hello sir." They speak at the same time.
"Hi, please go easy on me."
"What will you do if you're a Hunter?"
(Not even asking my name? How rude.)
"Uh... I would hunt monsters."
"What will you do if another hunter attacks you?"
"I'd run away and call for help."
"What if there's nowhere to run?"
"Then I'll fight back and immobilize them."
Running through all those questions, Kael's interview went well and he's now certified as a Beginner Hunter.
There are 7 types of Hunters: Beginner Hunters, Novice Hunters, Adept Hunters, Expert Hunters, Elite Hunters, Master Hunters, Apex Hunters.
The strongest Hunter currently, Cill Bipher an American man, his talent is called Nexus Walk, and he sees this world in Four-dimensional.
After Kael receives his identification card, he goes home and rest. While sleeping, Kael suddenly wakes up in a horrified state. He doesn't have any money.
