Days passed after I arrived at the library. Richel and I read many books about various aspects of ancient Barndeth, but due to my influence, we also delved into the history of dragons. It wasn't about speed; I needed Richel to be my guide, and I knew she wouldn't do it if someone forced her. I didn't want that, so sparking her interest was my only option.
"Chling-! "Alright sir, here is your food," said the waiter.
"Thank you," I replied with a soft smile.
Being productive while confined in the library was necessary for me to pass the time, so I engaged in various activities. I collected some minor items from around the city and even completed some quests to boost my fame in the city. I also developed a technique that allowed me to meditate while reading, which was quite helpful.
All in all, it was preparation that I needed to complete before venturing into Dragon Valley.
