The Incubus awakened. A being driven by desire, carrying immense power that had been dormant, was now unleashed upon the world.
Though they couldn't understand why, every man in that dark room felt a deep, primal fear. Their knees buckled instinctively as if their very souls were warning them to flee.
One fool, however, decided to face his fear. But the moment he tried to draw his weapon, his heart seemed to stop. His death was spared only by the whim of the being, who saw no reason to end the fool's suffering so quickly.
The Incubus walked slowly toward his targets, now paralyzed by terror. Unable to move, they watched that scary creature get closer step by step.
Finally, the Incubus struck the men violently until the pain rendered them unconscious. As for the others, who hadn't dared to confront him, their fate was far gentler. Their bodies grew heavy, and they sank into a deep, painless sleep.
