The two of them enter Zuram Toran and take off their shoes as they enter.
"What type of food do we have in the refrigerator?" Raymond asks as they head inside and he heads over to the Dining Room Kitchen Area further back in the building.
"Last I checked, there was only a couple of fruits and a steak or two for the one in the main Kitchen." Vivian replies as she sees him walk over to it. He opens the fridge and sighs seeing as they are all rotten.
"Well, looks like I'll be doing some hunting then, since there's no way I can eat these." Raymond remarks as he sees what else is left in the fridge. "I take it that you probably have some food in your personal Fridge?" He asks as he closes the Fridge and throws away all of the rotten food.
"Yeah, though I only have enough for three meals." She replies trying to remember what she has.
"I see, that's good then, seems like I'll only have to hunt for myself then." Ray says as he smiles slightly thinking about what to hunt.
"You're really planning on hunting after all of the confusing stuff that just happened?" Vivian asks out of concern while she looks outside the window.
"Well, I mean there's no point in worrying about it, since such storms can't ever be predicted." He says as he starts looking around Zuram Toran seeing everything that it has to offer, since his memories don't really show much of it. Vivian follows behind him a bit.
"So do you mind if I ask why you suddenly decided to come back, after all this time?" Vivian asks as she sees him unlocking the doors one by one using magic.
"Well, since I woke up in the middle of a dumpster and for other reasons I can't go back home, so I figured this place would be good after it came back to me suddenly." Raymond remarks not caring that he didn't plan out that response well.
"I see, so you're probably here for family problems like me." Vivian remarks as she looks sullen a little.
"Probably." {Speaking as I was never close to anyone in the main family, just my immediate family excluding my two older brothers.} Raymond says and thinks as his two memories become one, as well as his soul becoming stronger from devouring the Raymond's soul. His soul takes everything, fully keeping its original form. {What the hell was that? It felt like my soul energy reservoir just increase.} Raymond ponders in confusion as he comes to a sudden stop. After a few seconds he ignores it and continues looking throughout the building. After a while Vivian heads back to her room and decides to maker herself some dinner. Meanwhile Raymond heads out and decides to go hunting. Raymond successfully hunts a deer, and brings it back to Zuram Toran. He sets up a stands outside the house, and drains the blood, skins the hide, and removes the bones from everything. He also spent some time gather herbs earlier and decides to make a stew out of them now. He enjoys the stew as he smiles and enjoys the soft breeze. After a while he cleans up everything and heads back inside, heading to his room. Upon opening the door, he sees a simple and plain room with nothing but a bed, a desk with a computer and some notebooks. Walking over to the desk he spots himself in the mirror beside the bed. "Right, I'm still wearing the clothes from when I first woke up in this world. I should probably head to a store and buy some new ones." Raymond says as he sighs after looking at himself in the mirror. He looks more closely at the Tail he now has. "To think that Humans of this world have tails, and to think mine is now unique since it's a color different from the rest of the humans. Speaking that according to my memories they can only have Black, Brown, Gray, or White tails, not something like mine which has Rose at the tip, and transitions slowly to white at the base, making most of it pink." Raymond says as he looks at himself in the mirror. He decides to look in the closet to see if there were any clothes. "Of course, he hasn't been to this place in over 6 years, now why would there be any clothes." He remarks seeing the empty closet. Raymond heads downstairs, and makes his way toward the door. Vivian walks around the corner and sees Raymond putting on his shoes before he leaves.
"Are you heading out somewhere at 47:02?" Vivian asks as she walks over to him, then stands behind him.
"I was going to see if I can go get some new clothes since I don't seem to have anything except what I'm wearing." Raymond says as he finishes putting on his shoes and looks up at her.
"Do you know the Area?" Vivian asks as she stands there in her rose patterned sweatshirt and sweatpants.
"No I was planning on just running in one direction, till I find a city." Raymond says with a serious look on his face.
"That would be dumb, because the closet city is about 4 hours for a normal person, and in any other direction it'll take about 5 days." Vivian remarks after she sighs a little, then begins putting on her shoes.
"So I take it it won't take us as long?" Raymond says in response hearing that she specified normal people.
"Yeah, if you're able to keep up with me we should be able to arrive in less than 20 minutes." Vivian says as the two of them stand up, then head outside.
"Well then, let's have some fun!" Raymond says as he smiles, then looks over at her. She looks back at him and smiles in return. She quickly jolts her body, causing red orbs to appear from her body at a slow rate.
"Let's see if you can keep up with me!" Vivian says, then runs suddenly as she sprints off toward the woods.
"Oi, that's not fair!" He says as he channels magic throughout his body in order to increase his strength and agility. Not long after he runs after her, following the dirt trail she leaves behind. He follows it closely making sure he doesn't lose her in the distance. She looks back for a second and sees him approaching in the distance, and smiles as she continues running. After about a minute, Raymond manages to make his way behind her. He smiles seeing as he was able to keep up. {I haven't exerted this much energy since the old days of war, this is kind of fun!} Raymond thinks as he smiles, seeing Vivian about a meter in front of him.
{Seems like he's able to keep up way better than I thought he would! He would make a good soldier.} Vivian thinks as she notices him behind her. The two of them keep running through the forest and as they run through it they enjoy the nature along the way. Vivian jumps up and over a large pond, admiring the small creatures inside of it. Raymond doing the same, but also admiring the different plants in it. About ten minutes in they come across a River that they begin running beside. The river gets wider and bigger the closer to the city.
"Raymond, we're almost there!" Vivian says as she looks at him running beside her.
"That's great! So how are we going to stop and not cause a ruckus?" Raymond says then asks as he looks at her.
"Simple, just follow my lead!" Vivian says as she begins slowing down her pace a bit.
"Okay!" Raymond says as he does the same. Vivian's orbs change from Red and gradually turn into Green. The two of them now going over a fifth of the speed they were going at earlier. She takes the time to slowly regather her energy as she runs. Her orbs become a blue, and she suddenly jumps very high above all of the trees. Raymond quickly notices this and jumps as well, then switches to flying rather then running. He arrives beside Vivian as she free falls. He looks forward and sees the outskirts of the city, and off further into the distance he sees the large city. The two of them land back on the ground and Vivian comes to a complete stop, with her orbs vanishing. Raymond follows her and softly lands by flying down.
"So form here on out we should walk. There's a convenience store with clothes that should still be open." Vivian says casually as she points to the west of the city outskirts.
"I see, so I guess that means I'll have to buy the attire I like another day then." Raymond remarks as he realizes that they're heading to a convenience store rather than a full clothing store.
"What type of close do you prefer to wear?" Vivian questions after hearing his remark.
{Well, to be fair, I don't think that this world would have my traditional clothing anyways, so I think I'll have to learn how to make it myself.} "I prefer suits if I had to say." Raymond thinks, then says after figuring out what would be the closest to his traditional attire.
"Ah, I didn't expect you to be that type of person." Vivian remarks as she does a once over of him. "Though most people also don't see me as one to wear cute clothes all the time, so I can't really say much." She says as she shrugs her shoulders.
"I mean what you wear is up to you, so why should the opinion of another matter?" Raymond says without hesitation and smiles softly.
"That's also true! You make a fair point!" Vivian says as the two of them begin making their way to the convenience store. The two of them chat for the next five minutes as they walk to the store. As they walk to the store, someone spots and recognizes Vivian.
"Was that?" She says under their breath as they walk hand in hand with their boyfriend.
"Was that what Tina? Did you see something?" He says as he looks down at her. She points over at Vivian walking next to Raymond.
"That girl right there is my best friend Vivian, I don't think I've seen her in a while." Tinalu says as she looks at the two of them in confusion. "I also don't know who she's with, I've never seen him before." She wonders as the two of them stop walking.
"I'm not sure, he seems familiar to me somehow, but I don't think I've ever seen anyone like that before. Especially since he's a human with a rather pink colored tail." Trevor remarks as he observes Raymond more closely.
"You're right, I don't think I've ever seen a human with such a color of tail before." Tinalu says as she looks over and notices that the tip of tail is red while the red of it gradually becomes brighter towards the base of it. "Why do you think she might be with him?" She asks as she looks up at Trevor.
"Well based off of what you told me about her, it doesn't seem like she's dating him. Also since they seem to heading in the direction of SoloBel CoMart, it seems like they're going shopping for something." Trevor says thinking about it for a bit.
"Oh well, I can just asks Vivian about it some other time." Tinalu says as she tugs Trevor's arm, and giving his cheek a kiss.
"That's fair, and by that kiss I take it you want to head back home my love?" Trevor says as he looks down at her, then kisses her forehead.
"Yes!" She replies happily. The two of them then make their way back home, heading in the opposite direction of Vivian and Raymond. Off to the side on top of a building close by, an unknown figure spots Raymond and Vivian as they walk by. This unknown figure decides to follow them across the roof tops of the nearby buildings. The two of them eventually arrive at a convenience store named Doramella Goods.
"So this is the place?" Raymond asks as the two of them head inside and he looks around a little.
"Yes, it's a rather small store, but you can find them all over the world, so we should be able to find some good stuff." Vivian says as she points to something on the shelf. The two of them spend the next hour going around shopping and looking around. Eventually Raymond manages to find some clothes that he likes. He reaches into his tattered pocket, amazed to still find his phone and wallet there.
{To think that these survived the chaos that we just had a few hours ago.} Raymond thinks as he uses them to pay for the clothes, then with the Store's permission, heads back into the changing room. He takes off his shirt and pants, and looks over at the mirror in his briefs. He sees that this new body of his isn't the least bit muscular, which doesn't surprise him. "Huh, seems like regardless of the world I have a rather thin and unhealthy body." He mumbles to himself as he begins putting on a pair of floral sweats, similar to what Vivian is wearing. He puts on a simple pink shirt for his top and smiles. Raymond exits the changing room, and he sees Vivian finish making her payments. The two of them then head outside and make their way outside. Before they continue any further, Raymond still senses the presence that he noticed earlier but decided to ignore. He snaps his fingers causing a small lightning charge to appear where the person is standing. The Unknown Figure gets electrocuted, and collapses to the ground a few houses away.
"Is something wrong?" Vivian questions as she turns around and sees Raymond still by the entrance. Raymond smiles slyly and softly, knowing that he hit the target on the mark.
"Nothing, just a small little bug, nothing important." Raymond says as he begins walking toward Vivian.
"Fair, the bugs in this area can be quite annoying." Vivian says knowing what he just did. {If he hadn't done something, I would've done something myself once we got into the forest. Though I'm surprised he noticed it? How could he have noticed?} She thinks as the two of them walk toward the forest once again. They make their way through the forest the same way they did last time. The two of them stay rather quiet as they make their way back to Zuram Toran. Raymond slows himself down ma fair bit compared to Vivian. He takes his time to enjoy nature even more this time without rushing himself. Vivian slows down quite a bit after noticing him, and sees that he is enjoying himself. {He also seems to love nature quite a fair bit, why is that? The original Raymond was said to have been a wild person who hated nature and people. Also…} Vivian thinks as she watches him. She slows down her pace to match Raymond as she pulls out her phone. She looks up something on her phone that has been bugging her for ages. [Humans have tails just like many other species of people here on Ubidar. However Human tails can only come in shades of brown to blonde and black to white. Human tails are unable to be another other color if they are pure blooded humans. Humans also can't dye their tails due to the fact that their hair/fur contains an enzyme that breaks down what all dyes are currently made of.] Vivian reads off of her phone silently as she notices Raymond come to a stop. She does the same, but decides to watch him from a distance. Raymond looks around, then walks to the left toward a small creek. He holds out his left hand as he slowly lets out magic from inside of his body. Vivian notices this, and something registers for her, so she quickly looks it up. Raymond magic energy slowly gathers in the area. [Humans are unable to use magic from inside of their body like Blebians, and many other species, thus they've learned to use the magic in the air that surrounds them. This is very different than using Nature magic however.] Vivian reads off of her phone as she looks over at Raymond and sees that the magic is still leaving his body and gathering in the area. The magic slowly spreads out further. Without either of them realizing it, Raymond's magic slowly mixes in with the magic within the air, beginning to circulate throughout the entire planet. The magic that is directly around him, he regathers into a small orb, and decides to add some soul magic into it. The soul magic causes the orbs to emit a bright soft violet color from it. He takes his hand and puts the orb into the ground. The ground glows as if it were cracking with violet light. It heals itself rather quickly and the crack vanishes as if nothing happened. He Smiles as he finishes whatever he just did. Vivian puts away her phone and walks over to him.
"What was that?" Vivian questions as she couldn't figure out what he was doing.
"Oh, I was just doing something I love doing, although it is just a small habit of mine. I was just ejecting my magic energy into nature." Raymond says as he stands up and looks over at her. "If you were to ask me why I do, I can't really remember the exact reason, I just love feel like doing it whenever I see such a beautiful scene." Raymond says with a soft look on his face. Vivian looks at him in confusion a little.
"Well, I can admit that whatever you were doing looked beautiful." Vivian says as she looks around and still sees some of his magic energy flowing throughout the forest.
"It is rather beautiful." Raymond says as he smiles softly while looking around a little. "Though this world is already a beautiful planet." He says as he begins walking, with Vivian following him after she notices him. She catches up to him and walks next to him.
"So can I ask why you were suddenly unable to Teleport again?" Vivian questions as she remembers the events from earlier.
"Ahh, that's because of the way Silver Moonvel lightning works. Each color has it's own unique properties. Most of them are unknown, but Gold, Violet, Silver, Black, and White are the only ones that currently have the most known about them. Silver lightning is the least known among the most known. All we know is that the last ability you used, regardless of weather it was magic base, cultivation, supernatural, or something else." Raymond explains as the two of them up the speed a quite a bit. "Though that's no the most annoying part, that would be the fact that your body doesn't fully forget how to do it." He says and sighs.
"Is it something like how you know how to do something but since you forgot you have to retrain yourself on how to do it?" Vivian questions trying to understand him.
"That exactly what it is, and it's rather annoying!" Raymond exclaims, agreeing to her explanation. "Though it's rather good that I was the one who got hit." Ray says as he looks over at her real quick and nods.
"What do you mean by that?" Vivian asks in a rather serious tone.
"Well it's just all I lost was my ability to teleport, which while it sucks that I will have to relearn it, compared to what you could've lost I'd say I was rather lucky." Raymond explains making Vivian understand what he meant instantly. "However if you got hit, that technique which you cherish heavily you'd have to relearn it all over again. Seeing how complex your technique is as it uses three different types of energy at the same time, I can't imagine that it was rather easy to learn." He says shocking her that he already knows that much.
{Well seeing that it took me several decades to learn, he's correct in the fact that it took forever to learn.} "Well, you're not wrong there." Vivian thinks then says as she looks up at the sky remembering the difficulty of coming up with the technique. "How were you able to tell about the three different energies, most people aren't even able to see that I'm using energy." Vivian states unaware that all types of energy are visible to Raymond.
"Well it's quite simple, when I see you use the technique I can see you using Dark Nature Energy to shred your body apart, heal it quickly with Healing Energy, and then as you do it repeatedly you start using Blood Nature Energy to increase the amount of blood your body produces so you do become anemic. As well as the orbs that exit from your body every time you use it." Raymond explains as she suddenly stops and grabs his shoulders.
"You can also see Energy‽" Vivian asks with passion burning in her eyes.
"Yes, although I wasn't expecting you to be able to see as well." Raymond says surprised by her words and actions. She smiles brightly.
"Interesting to think that there were more people who could see it, my family head and doctors just though I was crazy!" Vivian says as she lets go of him then begin happily rambling on with a look of sheer joy.
{Interesting, I wasn't expecting to meet someone else who is able to see energy, even when I met different versions of my old self, they weren't able to see energy, I wonder why.} Raymond thinks as he smiles listing to Vivian go off. After she calms down a bit, the two of them continue on their way back to Zuram Toran.
"So how long have you been able to see energy? Have you been able to see it sense you were born like I have?" Vivian asks as she walks next to him with a bit of a skip still in her step.
"Yes, though it wasn't until I was…around 7 years old did I realize what it was, I never did end up telling anyone else though." {That was close I almost said when I was 34 years old, which wouldn't have made sense because I'm currently only twenty in this body.} Raymond says then thinks, glad he avoided making a mistake.
"Ah, so means you didn't have to go through the annoyance that I did, lucky!" {I mean after all during the war my time has the family head was much harder than getting bullied by those brats.} Vivian says happily as she remembers her past a little and chuckles at it.
"Ah, right you did say that your family and doctors thought you were crazy. Do you think you know why they thought that?" Raymond asks as they arrive at the Lavender Colored Field around Zuram Toran.
"No, I don't know why they thought that, I had complete forgotten about those incidents from when I was younger. Chatting with you made me remember, but also thanks to you I kind of realizes why." Vivian says as she stands there in the middle of the Field.
"Why's that?" Ray questions as he tilts his head in response.
"Because talking to you I realized that while it was normal for me, it wasn't normal for them. Most people of Ubidar aren't able to see the different types of energy flowing throughout the world, this I get. Even then, everything I was saying to them about the different types of energy was basically challenging everything that they know. After all you say what I use is a mix of Dark Nature Energy, Healing Energy, and Blood Nature Energy. However I would have just called it Unique Magic, since ever power in this world is simply called Magic." Vivian says making Raymond realize that he made a rather simple mistake. "However I think that's a good thing, we should learn more about Energy and the many different kinds that there are, juts like what you seem to know." Vivi says with a bright smile as the Night sky shines bright behind her.
"Well even with my knowledge, I don't know how to use everything very well as I am still learning." Raymond says accepting her praise, but not agreeing with it. {Because even though I haven't explored it much, it seems like this world has much better entertainment than my previous world… Well not better, but much more variety and advanced forms of it, then again that could've changed since I was not able to see the last 50 years of what they did…} Raymond thinks as he looks up and smiles at the moon. Just as Vivian was about to say something, she suddenly stops as she hears him start to hum.
{Wait a minutes, this tone!} Vivian recognizes it despite it being a song from his old world.
"The flowers flow and grow, through the snow~" Raymond sings in his deep yet soothing voice for the next thirty seconds.
"Until they rise, breaking through their barrier~" Vivian sings as she continues the song in her soft yet husky voice. Raymond looks over at her in surprise yet he smiles softly despite his confusion. He watches and listens to Vivian singing the song for about thirty seconds.
"They will shine under the moonlight." The two of the sing at the same time after Raymond joined in perfectly. The Balance of her soft yet warm Husky voice combines well with his soft yet very deep voice. The two of the sing the rest of the song for the next four minutes. While the two of them sing the energy around the two of them become visible to people aside from them, though sadly there isn't an audience to watch this beautiful… no, this majestic sight. The flow of multi colored wind energy, the soft lavender mist of energy coming from the Lavender field, as if the energy coming from the planet himself. Afterward Raymond stands there amid the field, basking in the moonlight, smiling.
{To think I could sing the song that the Elves back on Feldoiya taught me.} Raymond thinks as he falls to the ground, laying down. He relaxes as he looks around seeing all of the magic energy that was gathered from their singing, along with the energy of night. Vivian stands there as she looks around with a relaxed face.
{To think that I was able to sing a song I haven't heard since my Grandma sang it to me. I hope she's doing well out there.} She thinks as she smiles brightly. After a few minutes the two of them manage to gather themselves, and head back to Zuram Toran without saying another word.
"Well, it was a fun day, I'll see you later!" Vivian says the moment the two of them enter.
"See you later!" Raymond says as Vivian disappears further into the building, into her room. Raymond heads over to his room, and after entering he puts away all of the clothes he just bought. He looks over at the mirror and looks at his new body more closely. He smiles as he admires his new and young body. He spends the next thirty minutes analyzing his new body and how all of it functions including moving his tail on purpose. After he finishes with that he put on a pair of flora pajamas that Vivian help pick out for him. Even if they are very similar to the floral sweats he was wearing earlier. After that he decides to head to bed. However he looks over at the bed and sighs. "How long has it been since I slept in a bed?" He remarks softly and quietly so that he doesn't disturb Vivian in the other room. {It's been several thousands years for me, so I guess I'll just float above it for today!} He thinks as he sighs then jumps above the bed quickly while kicking up his left leg and curling into a ball as he begins floating above it. {I guess I'll reconstruct my room later.} He thinks as he begins imagining how to remodel his room to how he normally sleeps. After a little bit, he falls asleep while thinking about it. Above him on the second floor, Vivian sits there on her bed. She sits there reading a rather interesting romance book while she sits there in in her bright pink floral pajamas. {So to get my thoughts straight, Raymond Joy Oden is alive now and seems very different than how he was reported to be in my previous life. So that means that the First World War that lasted for so many years won't happen anymore…} Vivian sits there thinking about some very serious stuff while reading a spicy scene in her book without batting an eye. She does this for the next half hour, then heads to sleep still rather confused about what has happened today.
