As the kings word uttered out his mouth he shouts out a particular name Shinsao, Shinsao, Shinsao wake up!
The young boy jumped out from his bed surprised. "All that, was a dream? It felt so real though."
The young boy's older sister looks at him funny. "Must be quite the dream you had huh Shinsao."
Shinsao corrects his posture. "I guess it was, anyways why would you wake me up Liun?" "Father asked me to wake you up, he have something to tell you."
A deep intimidating voice calls out. "Shinsao!" Shinsao alerted. "Crap he sounds pissed." Shinsao ran to his father with utmost urgency." Shinsao out of breath. "Huff, huff, you summoned me, father?"
Shinsao's father looks Shinsao in the eyes. "Boy, it's time for you to man up. You're at the age where you can help out." Shinsao visibly shaken. "W-what do you have in mind father." "You've been watching me cut the trees right." Shinsao nods. "Well then, go get the axe outside, cut the trees, skin the bark, and carry the wood back home." Shinsao's father gaze glares into Shinsao's eyes as if he was staring into his very existence. "Understood?"
Shinsao's body froze with fear, halting his tongue. U-understood sir. Shinsao runs out the house to get the axe. Shinsao's sprint comes to a halt. "I just don't get it. Its like father has become someone different. To be honest I think it's because mother died." Shinsao having to remember his mother started bursting in tears.
It was 4 years ago since the incident. Shinsao and his mother was walking to stack up on some groceries. It was Shinsao's first. Shinsao looks up to his mother. "M-mother?" Shinsao's mother looks down. "Yes dear." "Can you hold my hand." Shinsao's mother smiles at Shinsao. "Of course"
Shinsao blushes while holding his mother's hand. Shinsao think to himself. "Mother hands feel soft and warm it almost like she's an angel."
As Shinsao and his mother approached the Market it begins to rain. A droplet touch Shinsao face. "Ah, rain?" Shinsao's mother face is full of concern. "Come dear we have to hurry."
Something caught Shinsao's eye, a person standing near the river. Shinsao continue to look at the person, the person begins leaning towards the rushing water.
Shinsao breaks the firm grasp of his mother to rush towards the person. As Shinsao approach the person he realized it was a woman, the woman continued to lean until she ultimately falls off the ledge. "Nooooo." Shinsao begins to cry as he has fail in saving the women.
"Shinsao, Shinsao." Shinsao mother called out but the rain masked her voice. "Get away it's not safe, Shinsao!" Shinsao looked up as he heard his mother's voice. Shinsao thought to himself. "Its mother, she looks she going towards at something."
Shinsao looks behind him at saw a shadowy figure floating above the river. The shadowy figure grinned. "Its unmistakable, you can see, can't you." In that instance the shadowy figure slash through Shinsao chest rendering him unconscious.
As Shinsao consciousness starts to fade he hears his mother call out to him "Shinsao, Shinsao!" In a heart wrenching voice. The word that Shinsao uttered before he lost consciousness were, Mother.
In the pitch black darkness a voice called out. "Shinsao, it is not your time, wake up, wake up Shinsao, SHINSAO!" Shinsao comes to but the first thing he realized was the slash he received from the shadowy figure vanished. "Huh?" His head clicked. "Mother, where's mother?"
Shinsao scurry around looking for his mother only to spot her laying face first on the ground. Shinsao eyes widen, breathless. Shinsao rushes to his mother denying every aspect of what's become of her
Shinsao held his mother in his arms as the water droplet continues to touch her face. "Mother, Mother, wake up Mother. Shinsao tries to smile trying to think things will be okay but, deep down he already knew.
Shinsao face begins flooding with tears. Then he begins wailing, clenching his mother corpse tightly. "Mother, mother."
Shinsao comes to. Face drenched in tears. "Ah." Shinsao wipes his face. "I promise mother, I'll protect everyone who needs protecting." Shinsao retrieves the axe and went into the forest.
Meanwhile Liun comes from Shinsao room to the living room where Shinsao's father is located.
"Oh goodmorning father." Shinsao's father turns his head slightly. "Ah yes, goodmorning Liun. Liun can you run a errand for me."
Liun replied with great anticipation. "Of course I can father what do you need me to do?"
Shinsao's father looks at the clock, which is located on the very top of the wall( for some weird reason.) and then back at Liun. "Go get whatever you think we need."
Liun eyes gleamed with joy. ("Anything father? You really mean it." Shinsao's father nod and throws up a cheeky thumbs up.
Liun squeals and then runs up to her father to hug him. "Thank you father you're the best!" Liun pulls away. "Okay father I'm gonna be on my way."
Shinsao's father let out a deep sigh and stares at the clock once more. As if he's waiting for someone or something.
10 minutes passed.
20 minutes passed.
30 minutes passed.
"It's quiet, too quiet. No he has arrived"
The omniscience presence is starting to make Shinsao's father sweat.
As the clock ticks, the wind suddenly picked up. Shinsao's father looks at the front door, fully expecting what's to come.
As the wind gradually decreased, a silhouette of a man form, his image becomes encrypted within the door, then he materializes.
The man covers his face with his hands. "Ah, I can feel again." The man lowers his hands and looks at Shinsao's father. "Your name is Arin Shakanami, wasn't it."
"And, so what if it is."
The man bows. "It would be rude of me to not introduce myself. My name is Walchfaukt. The one who will take your life."
Arin grunts. "Oh, is that so." Arin gets up from the chair. "Well then, let's see if you can back that up."
Walchfaukt dashes towards Arin without warning and throws a punch. Arin quick response allows him to catch Walchfaukt's fist.
Walchfaukt grins. "I got you now." Walchfaukt generates electricity through his free arm and hurls it at Arin but, Arin caught it.
Walchfaukt grin fades. "How the hell?" "Sorry but, let's take this fight elsewhere" The room Arin and Walchfaukt was is in gets shifted into a Rocky terrain.
Walchfaukt breaks free from Arin grip. "What the hell did you do?" Arin smirks. Well, to put it simply, I created this place, a place where I can let loose.
Walchfaukt breaths deeply. "I won't let up even for a second. I'll go all out from the start!" Walchfaukt strains his entire body to produce electricity.
Arin watches the event unfold. "I see now, he uses the electricity he produce to cover his entire body, which means he's probably faster and stronger." Arin sighs. "Dam it looks like I have to activate it so I can stand a chance, being in this world for so long put a strain in my abilities and power, otherwise, I would need just one arm.
Arin inhales deeply and then in an instant red light swirl around Arin which slowly progress towards the sky. As the Light reaches towards the sky, the light turns dark, then the light reaches its peak and then it disappeared spontaneously.
Arin gasp. "No, no way, surely it couldn't have been that long since I was in that realm." Arin monolog internally. "I can't activate it, this situation turned bad into worse."
Walchfaukt laughs. "Its just as Master said it would be. You've grown significantly weaker, ARIN SHAKANAMI!
35 minutes ago, when Shinsao left to go get wood from the forest.
"Oof, ow that hurt, dumb root sticking up from the ground." Shinsao gets up and pant himself. "Would father be pleased if I bring some thick logs?" As Shinsao picked up his axe he hears a twing snap. "Who's there, show yourself!" Shinsao grips the axe harder. "Is it a bear or is it a wolf.? Shinsao said Internally. Shinsao backs up until he hits the tree behind him with enough force to make him gasp.
"There's no need to be scared, It's just me." The man voice resonated through Shinsao's ears as he appear from behind the tree.
The man appears to be in his 30s and have brown hair and a beard. "Who are you?" Shinsao asked. The man puts his hand out. "My name is Ryota Kenji, It's a pleasure to meet you Shinsao." "Ryota? I've never heard of you and how do you know my name?" "Don't worry about the fodder informations, just know that you are someone of great importance."
"Importance? Me? What are you on about Old man?" Ryota points to the stumps. "Here have a seat I just want to have a word with you." Shinsao reluctantly agrees and have himself a seat. "So what do you have to say Mr. Kenji?" "For starters, you of not for this realm Shinsao."
Shinsao looked at Ryota confused. "Huh~" Ryota sighs. "Look kid believe it or not but, this realm isn't your birthplace." "What are you talking about?" "Kid, the place you're from is nothing like this realm, hell this realm don't have a big ass worm with sharp ass rows of teeth. Talk about lame~"
Shinsao crosses his arms. "And what has this got to do with me?" Ryota snickers. "Well, your lifespan gradually decreased as your abilities get stripped from your genetic information." Shinsao uncrosses his arms.
"Why do you even care?" I want to bring you back to the realm you belong to, it'll be a waste to have you die here. And als-." Ryota words have been cut off when the ground begins to quake."
Soon following the quaking a red light appears turning black in the process.
Shinsao gasp, his eyes widen. "Father?"
Ryota eyes widen in shock. "This kid can sense innate abilities? Only a select few have that ability to sense it. Not to mention that he is in this realm as well." Ryota monolog internally.
Ryota smiles. "Welp I guess our time of chatting is ove-." Before Ryota finishes his sentence, Shinsao sprints toward the direction of the light. "There's no mistaking it, its really father."
At the same time.
Walchfaukt dashes towards Arin. "Its basically over kill at this point." Arin flick his hands." If I can't activate it then I'll just have to match his speed. Sozo type speed."
Walchfaukt throws a punch but Arin counters it , sending him flying into the rocks. Atin soon follows up with a rush of attacks pinning Walchfaukt deeper into the rock. "Enough!!!" Walchfaukt shouted as he exploded the rocks surrounding him into ciders sending chunks flying off into the air.
Walchfaukt raises his right arm, the electricity surrounding Walchfaukt begins to transfer to the right arm until its fully embedded.
"Now ELETRIC STORM!" The Electricity from Walchfaukt right arm disperse into the sky and then come crashing down towards Arin at high speeds catching him off guard.
The electricity Jolts graze Arin's right cheek as he dodges them. "Dam, those things are fast."
Walchfaukt grunts, stopping the onslaught. "I'm running out of time." Walchfaukt places both hands in front of him. "It's time to finish this." Walchfaukt begins to transfer his electricity into his hands until his shines a deep Azul.
Arin begins to sweat. "My instincts is screaming at me telling me to run, but if I do, the consequences will be unfathomable."
"Now, DENKOSEN!" Walchfaukt shouted as the beam of electricity dispel from his hands.
"Just as I thought, If the attack touches the ground, the space I created will be in shambles. I've got to focus on defense, maximizing it. Sozo: Absolute Defense, Figuration Monokaze."
Arin planted his feet to the ground as he waited for the incoming attack. Arin flings his arms forward as if he's trying to catch the incoming attack.
Walchfaukt attack finally made contact with Azel, pushing him back until he collided with the rocks. "Not yet, NOT YET!!!! Arin shouted, as he pushes towards Walchfaukt with the attack.
"It should've exploded by now, so why?"
"Sozo: Absolute reflect." A magic rune appears interlocking with Arin's wrists, absorbing the attack. As Walchfaukt's Ability Skill gets absorbed the magic runes starts charging up disputing electricity.
"I've never seen anything like it, does it have to do with his ability." Arin's wrist starts to crack, which continues to extend to his arms. "You're done, Walchfaukt!"
The magic rune lights up and propel the stored up electricity towards Walchfaukt, the only difference is that it's faster than when Walchfaukt casted it.
"What!" Walchfaukt is caught off guard with the speed the electricity and caught in contact with Walchfaukt. "Nrg-"
A huge explosion erupted from where Walchfaukt was standing.
Arin pants, as he tried to catch his breath. "It looks like I did it." Arin arms starts to limp. "I can't feel my arms, looks like I really gotten weaker.
"Father?" Arin turns around as he hears a familiar voice, it was his son.
"Shinsao? When did you- no, how did you get in here?" "Well, when I saw a huge red light appear in the sky, I felt your presence, so I rushed home as fast as possible. When, I arrived the outside was perfectly fine and then I touched the door knob, then I got transported here."
"Where are we ? What happened to our home?" Arin was shocked. "He, was... able to sense me?" Arin thought to himself. "I think this is the appropriate time to tell you of your origins, Shinsao."
"What do you mean father." "Listen carefully Shinsao. Me, your mother, Liun, and you, Shinsao, are not from this realm. You see, soon after you was born, your sister developed an illness. Your mother and I, tried our best to cure her from her illness but, all have failed. We even had the best healers to try to cure her, until finally one of the advanced healers noticed something. It wasn't an illness, it was poison, caused by an ability.
After everything, we didn't have the means to cure her. We were in the deepest of despair. Liun started coughing up blood and she started looking more and more pale and frail. Lucia tears couldn't stop flowing, me nor her didn't had a wink of sleep then.
It was in the dead of night, Lucia had one final solution, to commit the greatest crime of all, transversing to another realm. She told me to take care of you, while she go and take Liun, but I didn't listen and decided to take you and go with her."
It was considered the greatest offense to cross over without getting a seal, that would allow us to use our abilities in full power without it going away.
It took 5 years, for the poison to subside, Liun was looking beautiful and healthy me and your mother was overjoyed. It was the best day-"
A slash of electricity was going towards Shinsao, but at the last minute Arin shoved Shinsao out of harms way sacrificing his left arm.
"Father!" Shinsao looks up at Arin noticing that Arin's arm was completely severed from his body.
A silhouette of a man emerged from the dust cloud, it was Walchfaukt. His clothes was completely tattered and torn. "I was planning on taking out your son, completely unaware. But it seems I no longer have the luxury for that."
Arin clenching his left shoulder. "I'm sorry, Shinsao, it looks like it's time for us to part ways." "What do you mean father?"
Shinsao ask in a wary voice."
Arin points his hand at Shinsao. "Sozo: type eject" A mysterious force propels Shinsao towards the air, forcing him out the space Arin created.
"I have no choice, arm is completely unusable and I'm out of stamina. Sozo: type Annihilation." The rocks crumble has the space begins to tremble. Then lava shoots from the ground.
"What did you do?" "I simply made the space's core unstable, we got about 5 seconds before everything in it is completely destroyed."
"You're bluffing!" Walchfaukt exclaimed. "You wouldn't sacrifice your own life, that's uncharacteristic of you!" "If I was myself from the past, then you're right, but unfortunately for you I'm not."
Walchfaukt dashes towards Arin planning to end him right then and there. But before Walchfaukt reaches Arin, white light expands covering everything, in quick succession, and then exploded, leaving nothing behind.
While that was happening, Shinsao was flung hard out of the space, then he collided with a tree hitting his back. Shinsao gasp as he contact with the tree, rendering him unconscious.
A familiar man walked up towards the unconscious Shinsao. "Well, this doesn't look good, It looks like you will wake up in another realm unaware." Ryota scratches his hair. "Ugh, this is such a pain in the ass."
Ryota picked up Shinsao and carry him into the night.
