A week had passed since leaving behind the wreckage of the Zolkar Collective's facility. Ethan stood on the bridge, watching as the stars passed by. Though they had successfully sabotaged a critical production hub, it felt like they had only poked a sleeping beast. Ethan's thoughts were a whirl of uncertainty and the constant threat of what was coming next.
Prella stood silently beside him, her hands clasped behind her back. "We might have hit them hard this time, but they're still out there. And I can feel something... lurking," she whispered. She had begun to have an awakening while fighting in the Zolkar Collective Factory. Her connection to the Ether had grown stronger since they found the Adar. It had also made her more attuned to dangers that weren't always visible.
Ethan sighed and rubbed the back of his neck. "Yeah, this victory's not going to last long. They'll be back with a vengeance."
