When Harry appeared outside the grounds of Malfoy Manor, he immediately disappeared thanks to the abilities of the Invisibility Cloak. He jumped over the wall and entered the grounds without too much trouble. There was no way the people inside would find out about his presence, unless he himself let it happen.

"There isn't a single guard. Although with Voldemort inside, they might think it's not necessary," Harry thought as he walked to the right side of the large mansion. Entering through the door was simply foolish. It was better to use the window of an empty room.

He quietly walked to the third window on the right side, where he saw the curtains open and a small room that only had a shelf on each side of the wall and a table near the window with two chairs, one on each side of the table. It looked like a small waiting room.

 "Alohomora"

With a small noise, the window latch lifted and Harry gently pushed with one hand before placing his hands on the window sill and using a little force to climb up. When he was inside, he gently closed the window before he walked to the door and placed one knee on the ground and then raised his hand and pressed it slightly on the door.

"Specto," as he cast the magic, Harry's hand glowed blue for a moment before the door turned transparent. This was a simple spell, but one aimed at peering into things or the other side of a wall, or door for that matter. The caster would be able to see through (or into) but the other side would not be noticed, the door would remain the same.

Harry looked through, noticing there was no hallway, but a hall with no one around. Nodding to himself, he carefully opened the door and then closed it before carefully walking up the central staircase that led to a walkway around the hall. On either side of the stairs—right at the bottom—were two doors.

"According to Dobby, the largest hall was through the doors and then a hallway. The doors at the top lead to bedrooms and other rooms."

"If it wasn't for the fact that there's a house-elf here, then I would have sent Dobby to do the job. In fact, he told me that little guy almost found out when he brought that letter," Harry shook his head a little, thinking that the Malfoys' new house-elf must be having a hard time. But he couldn't do too much, he didn't want to risk recruitment, especially since they might be found out. Even more so when that elf was relatively new to the manor; even if he's mistreated, he'll keep doing his job loyally for a long time.

"Draco! Draco, stop right there!"

Harry's eyes widened a little when he heard a woman's voice screaming before the door on the right side of the stairs was slammed open. Harry saw Draco Malfoy storming out of the door as his mother yelled at him to stop.

"What do you want, Mother?!" Draco exclaimed angrily as he turned around.

Narcissa was stopped hard by her son's sudden movement, but she didn't seem to stop to think as she spoke.

"You can't do that! You'd just be putting a big target on your back!"

"I already have a target on my back, Mother! In case you haven't noticed, my father is a Death Eater! My family, our family!... It doesn't matter if he's Black or Malfoy, they both follow the Dark Lord!" Draco shouted angrily as he waved his arm to the side.

"Even if I don't do it now, how long will I have to wait? Months? A year at most? I'll serve the Dark Lord at some point. It's impossible to escape."

Narcissa bit her lip as she looked at her upset son. It hurt her heart to see him like this. It shouldn't be like this. She knew that if she married Lucius, a time like this might come, but she had no other choice, not with the family she was born into.

"I can talk to your father, Draco. Just... focus on Hogwarts, Slytherin... on friends."

"Friends... Friends?" Draco laughed sadly as he looked down at the floor and shook his hair with one hand.

"I don't even know if I have any friends, Mother. Crabbe and Goyle are just fools who follow me around because I'm a Malfoy. Most girls ignore me because they more or less know what my father is capable of, and the rest of the men just want to associate with me for power."

Narcissa closed her eyes, feeling like crying for her son. A boy's childhood and adolescence weren't supposed to be like this. But the families they were born into didn't help at all, they only made things worse.

"There..." Draco opened his mouth, but stopped immediately. He shook his head and slumped his shoulders.

"Father got us into all this. His ambition... his greed... and his fear got us into this mess. I just wanted..." Draco stopped when he felt his mother's embrace. Narcissa held him tightly as Draco wrapped his arms around his mother's body, trying not to cry.

Harry pressed his lips together at the scene. He had unexpectedly found himself in this situation, and if it weren't for his invisibility cloak, then the scene would be completely absurd with him standing right next to mother and son. Harry decided that he had stood there listening for too long and walked past the door that had been left open. The hallway he entered was quite large, with black wooden floors and brown wooden walls. There were a few pictures hanging on the wall, but none of them were magical portraits.

"Door on the right... The third one!"

Harry saw the third door after he had entered the hallway and hurried as he looked back, hoping that Narcissa or Draco wouldn't come back only to see a door open by itself. Inside he found a room with a large long table near a fireplace. He knew from Dobby that this was where Lucius met with some people, and he knew that it was possible that Voldemort was here.

He didn't care if there was anyone inside. His intention was to enter unseen, but leave shocking as many as he saw. So why not force his way in from the start? That was easy to answer. People, no matter if they were dark wizards or not, feared the unknown. Not understanding how someone had entered unseen, everyone would be hesitant, shocked, and except for Voldemort, perhaps everyone would be afraid.

The moment the door opened, Lucius and Voldemort immediately looked over, but saw no one entering. Peter looked confused before walking to close the door while the rest of the Death Eaters looked at each other before turning their heads to their master, the Dark Lord.

"Wormtail, wait a mo-" Voldemort spoke, ordering Peter to stop, but stopped when he saw one of Wormtail's arms fall to the ground along with a large amount of blood.

"Huh?" Wormtail felt nothing for a couple of seconds, until suddenly an enormous pain was registered in his brain.

"AAAAHHHHH!!!", Wormtail's scream echoed throughout the mansion as he fell on his back and clutched what was left of his arm. His hand and the ground filled with blood as his eyes were wide open looking at the horrible wound.

"We have an enemy!" Voldemort shouted angrily as he made his magic manifest in a dark mist that he threw forward. Almost as if it were a controlled obscurus, the mist swept the ground as it passed near Wormtail and opened a hole where the door used to be.

The great sound caught the attention of Narcissa and Draco, who looked at each other before running to the living room. When they arrived, they saw the destruction caused by Voldemort, but also Wormtail on the ground, as if he were lifeless. The two of them paled at the sight of this, but especially a figure dressed in black who made two wand movements.

"Argh!"

"Grrggrgrgrg!"

"Jugson! Nott!", a Death Eater near the named ones screamed surprised and a little scared to see Jugson flying with his sternum caved in and Nott being electrocuted until he hit the ground face first.

"Avada Kedavra!", Lucius shouted angrily as he pointed at Harry, but he watched in disbelief as Harry simply moved his hand to send the killing curse towards another Death Eater. The man with an elegant appearance and white gloves fell to the ground with his eyes open, staring at the roof.

"Pyrites!", Lucius shouted before gritting his teeth and starting to fire spell after spell.

Each spell was deflected away or dodged easily by Harry as he slowly made his way towards a Voldemort who watched with infinite hatred.

The Dark Lord moved his hand and pointed with his wand. There was no interference in his movements, it was a short, but fast and fluid movement as the tip of his wand lit up with a green color before a large beam of death shot out. Harry watched fearlessly as the killing curse was fired.

Without a single second's hesitation, he raised his wand towards the killing curse and spoke for the first time since arriving at the manor.

"Ruach Hakudesh"

As the words were spoken, the room lit up with a pure white light. It wasn't like a light illuminating everything at once, but rather like sunlight softly shining all over the place. And from Harry's wand shot out a white light that hit the killing curse.

The spells clashed and sparks of two colors flew everywhere. The white, almost holy light had no problem fighting the light of death that Voldemort had sent. The Dark Lord tightened his grip on his wand as he felt his curse steadily receding. His red eyes stared in shock at the white light; he didn't understand how this enemy could oppose him like this.

Inside his mind, deflecting the killing curse was something remarkable, but one that could be accepted without too many questions. Even blocking it wouldn't be that much of a surprise. The problem was that he felt like his spell was slowly fading away, almost as if the opposing spell was destroying him into nothingness.

And that wasn't all. The effect of the light was completely opposite to Avada Kedavra. While one gave you the feeling of death, the other gave the feeling of life. The unknown spell was filled with love, hope, and holiness.

"Who are you?!" Voldemort roared as he flicked his wand, causing the killing curse to whip around and advance a little further.

"Even if you oppose me, I will still kill you! I will kill you! And everyone you love too!"

Harry flicked his wand a little, causing his spell to explode with more force and completely split the killing curse before swallowing it. Voldemort could only see the white light flooding his vision before he felt his body flying backwards. His robes were burned and thus his body took damage.

Sitting on the floor with his back to the wall, Voldemort growled as he felt his chest feel hot and increasing by the second, burning his body. His blood began to emerge from the wound as a black mist exploded from the center of his chest.

"Aaarrgh! What... is this?!" Voldemort screamed as he clutched his chest tightly.

"WHAT DID YOU DO TO ME!! TELL ME NOW!!", Voldemort's roar filled with pain and hate seemed to make the mansion rumble.

Harry stared at him for a few seconds before disappearing and appearing next to Wormtail. He took his body before looking back at Voldermot and Lucius, who stood frozen watching the Dark Lord writhing in pain.

"I have marked your body with a blessed light. It will not disappear. It will not heal. It will not lessen the pain."

"Until your death, you will feel the pain of the light eating away at the darkness within you," Harry's words came out in a tone full of steel before he disappeared from the spot with Wormtail.

Voldemort's eyes trembled as he stared at the position where Harry had been.

When he felt that pain again, he raised his head and screamed with a hatred he had never felt before.

"AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!"
