Seeing that Enel was serious, Kaku couldn't help but laugh, "You idiot, are you really going to take me down too?"
Sabo didn't fully understand what Enel was about to do, but getting hit by that lightning pillar was certainly no joke.
"Already angry? I haven't even gone all out yet," Sabo said as both he and Kaku dodged Enel's "Judgment of the Gods" attack at almost the same time.
As soon as Sabo stopped moving, Enel appeared in front of him, his golden staff charged with electricity, swinging it straight down towards Sabo.
Sabo jumped back quickly, and Enel's lightning-covered staff smashed into the ground, shattering the surface and leaving a crater over two meters in diameter and more than a meter deep.
"Your temper is really something," Sabo sighed, "I just wanted a friendly spar, that's all…"
"Die, brat!" Enel shouted as he struck two of the drums on his back with his golden staff, summoning a lightning dragon that hadn't been used in a long time. It roared as it surged out of the drum.
Seeing this, Sabo had no choice but to dodge again, but this time was different. Under Enel's control, the lightning dragon continued to chase Sabo relentlessly.
"This lightning dragon is really troublesome," Sabo muttered as he ran. As he passed a relatively intact boulder, he quickly stepped on it, and when the lightning dragon attacked, he deftly leapt over it.
The lightning dragon slammed into the boulder, instantly shattering it into countless pieces.
Just as Sabo landed, Enel reappeared in front of him, smirking as he swung the golden staff, still crackling with lightning, at Sabo again.
Sabo frowned slightly, switching the pipe to his left hand while shaping his right into a dragon claw covered in Armament Haki. As Enel's staff came at him, Sabo grabbed it with his claw and crushed it with force.
To Enel and Kaku's disbelief, the golden staff shattered in Sabo's grasp…
However, the electric current still running through the staff surged into Sabo, and even though he had Armament Haki to protect him, he stumbled back, almost falling.
Looking at the broken half of his golden staff on the ground, Enel's face darkened. Without hesitation, he used the intense heat from his electricity to melt the golden chunk on the ground, then fused it with the remaining half of the staff, restoring it to its original form.
"That's a bit unfair, isn't it?" Sabo said, laughing helplessly at seeing the golden staff restored again.
Enel emitted a dangerous aura, his face grim. "You were able to crush my weapon and withstand being shocked without going down. Looks like you're quite capable. Hmph, but don't think I'll let you off for this. Anyone who defies me must die!"
Saying this, Enel spread his hands wide, and electricity began to surge from his palms.
Kaku quickly leapt in front of Sabo, facing Enel, and said helplessly, "Alright, alright. This kid didn't mean any harm from the beginning. After all, we've been freeloading here for almost six months. How about we just let it go as thanks for the Revolutionary Army's hospitality?"
"Get out of my way, long-nose!" Enel snapped. "If you get caught in this, it's your own fault."
"Oh, come on, why are you so stubborn…"
"One more word from you, and I'll take you down too."
Kaku sighed, "As if there's ever been a day you didn't hit me."
"You bastard, you want a fight?!" Enel fired a bolt of lightning at Kaku.
Kaku immediately took out his lightning absorption device, which had been modified countless times, and absorbed Enel's lightning strike.
Enel paused for a moment, then sent another lightning bolt, which was again absorbed by Kaku's device.
"Hahaha! My device can now handle and store a much greater amount of lightning compared to a few months ago. I bet it could absorb ten of your strikes," Kaku laughed heartily.
Enel's eye twitched slightly, and he increased the power of his lightning strike from the usual 1 million volts to 10 million volts.
As soon as Kaku's device absorbed the bolt, it exploded.
"Cough, cough…" Covered in soot, Kaku wasn't upset or angry; instead, he laughed again, "Hahaha, looks like I need to keep working on it."
Enel, who had been furious earlier, almost couldn't help but laugh at Kaku's antics. "You're doing this on purpose, aren't you…"
"Haha, alright, alright," Kaku said as he patted Enel's now electricity-free back. "The captain should be awake by now. Come on, let's go get some afternoon tea."
"I don't want tea…"
"I'll make you a fresh fruit juice."
"Alright… I want an apple pie too."
"Sure, no problem."
And just like that, Enel and Kaku headed back to the Revolutionary Army base.
Sabo watched them leave, stunned for a moment, then laughed. "Takumi's crew really is something else, haha…"
Suddenly, a thought crossed Sabo's mind, and he quickly caught up with Enel and Kaku as if nothing had happened. He asked curiously, "Hey, do you guys know where Takumi's sister went? Gilteo said she's not with you."
"Takumi's sister?" Enel blinked. "I didn't even know Takumi had a sister."
Kaku was equally puzzled. "The captain has a sister? I've been on the ship for so long and never met her…"
"Huh? Neither of you have seen her?" Sabo was surprised. "Mumu, you really don't know?"
"Mumu?" Kaku thought for a moment, then shook his head. "Never heard of her… But, to be fair, I don't know much about the captain's past. Maybe he really does have a sister… Hey, Enel, do you know anything about where the captain's from or if he has any family?"
At that question, Enel's eye twitched. "No, I don't know…"
"You've been on the ship longer than me. I thought you'd know everything. What a disappointment," Kaku teased.
"Uh… Long-nose, I'll give you one more chance to rephrase that!" Enel said angrily.
"Hahaha," Kaku laughed, ignoring Enel. He turned to Sabo and continued, "If you want to know about the captain's sister, you should ask him yourself."
Sabo scratched his head, then grinned. "Alright, I'll go find him then."
With that, he took off running.
Before long, Sabo arrived at Takumi's room.
Takumi was already awake, sipping on some wine when Sabo appeared at the doorway and immediately asked, "Takumi, where's your sister?"
Takumi's face darkened, and he said in a cold tone, "Didn't I tell you not to meet with her again?"
Sabo paused, then laughed loudly. "Haha, don't be so serious. I'm just worried about Mumu. After all, she got hurt because of me, thanks to Kizaru."
"She's fine," Takumi said curtly.
Still persistent, Sabo asked, "Oh? So where is she now? Why didn't she come to Baltigo with you?"
Without hesitation, Takumi reached into his system storage and pulled out the Ruyi Jingu Bang (Golden Staff).
Seeing the long staff, Sabo was puzzled. "Where did you pull that from?"
Takumi glared at Sabo, his tone cold. "I just happened to have a new stick technique to practice."
"Huh?" Sabo blinked, still confused, but decided to play along. "What technique?"
Takumi sneered, "The Dog Beating Stick Technique."
"Uh?" Before Sabo could react, Takumi used Shunpo to appear in front of him instantly. Sabo, unable to dodge, found himself being hit repeatedly, even though he tried to defend himself with his pipe. Takumi effortlessly sent him flying out of the room with his relentless barrage of strikes…
