Takumi and his two companions calmly watched as the two massive giants below the ship rushed toward them with immense force.
Even though the giants were undeniably strong, Takumi and his group weren't concerned about facing them head-on.
But why waste time on them?
Takumi gave Enel a subtle glance.
Enel, equally uninterested in fighting, simply raised the ship higher into the sky by about a hundred meters. While the giants were massive in size, they couldn't fly, and even if they hurled their weapons, they had little chance of hitting the agile ship flying overhead.
"Cowards! How sneaky!" Kashii yelled angrily as he glared at the ship flying high in the sky. "If you have the guts, come down here and fight us!"
Enel leaned over the ship's railing, grinning at the giants below. "Yahaha! If you've got the guts, come up here and fight us."
"Alright, enough fooling around," Kaku said with a chuckle.
After the ship passed through the second gate and entered Enies Lobby, Takumi calmly leaped onto the railing of the ship.
Enel, noticing this, asked quickly, "You're not planning to jump down from here, are you?"
Takumi glanced back at him, a slight smirk forming on his lips. "Yeah, find a good spot to park the ship. I'm going down first."
Without waiting for a response, he leaped off the ship.
Enel was left speechless for a moment. "We're at least two hundred meters in the air! This captain really knows how to make things difficult…"
Kaku teased, "Do you even have the right to say that?"
Enel clenched his golden staff tightly, glaring at Kaku. "Damn it, long-nose! Say that again, I dare you!"
Kaku waved dismissively. "Alright, alright, I won't say it again…"
Meanwhile, Takumi's descent ended with a loud crash, creating a crater over two meters deep as he hit the ground.
Dust and debris scattered in all directions.
As soon as Takumi landed, the system's familiar voice echoed in his mind.
[Ding! Congratulations to the host for successfully reaching the sign-in location: Enies Lobby. Progress +10%, current total progress 10%. Reward: All Rokushiki techniques upgraded by 1 level. Current levels: Finger Pistol Lv4, Iron Body Lv6, Shave Lv4, Moonwalk Lv4, Tempest Kick Lv4, Paper Art Lv4.]
The reward was just as Takumi had expected.
Since all CP9 members had mastered the Rokushiki techniques, this task was clearly related to them.
Without thinking much about it, Takumi asked aloud, "How many progress tasks are there on this island?"
[Ding! Besides the landing task, there are three additional progress tasks, each accounting for 30% of the total progress. The host has one chance to randomly view the task details. Would you like to use it now?]
Takumi wasn't in any hurry, so he replied, "No need. I'll save it for later."
He planned to use it after completing two tasks, leaving only one left to check.
Although he wasn't sure what kind of tasks awaited him, he remained calm.
Shaking off his thoughts, he easily jumped out of the crater he had created.
As soon as he was on solid ground, a group of marines armed with guns surrounded him from all sides.
The leading marine, with a stern expression, spoke up, "You're surrounded. If you don't want to get hurt, surrender now. Otherwise, don't blame us for using force!"
Takumi glanced coldly at the marines encircling him, remaining silent as he slowly walked toward the one who had spoken.
His destination—the Tower of Justice, where Spandam and the CP9 members were located—was just behind the marine.
"Hey! Stop right there!" the marine shouted, his face turning pale as Takumi approached without any fear. "If you take another step, I'll shoot!"
But Takumi paid no attention to his words.
The marine, gritting his teeth, fired two shots directly at Takumi.
Takumi tilted his head slightly, effortlessly dodging the bullets.
Seeing this, the marine panicked and shouted to his comrades, "This guy isn't normal! Don't let him get any closer. Take him down, everyone!"
Gunshots rang out from all directions as countless bullets flew toward Takumi.
Annoyed, Takumi furrowed his brows and unsheathed the Sandai Kitetsu. With two casual slashes, he cut every bullet in half.
As the marines stood there, dumbfounded, Takumi glanced at them. In an instant, the marines lost consciousness and collapsed to the ground, one by one.
Back on the ship, Enel leaned over the railing, lazily watching the scene unfold below. "Using Haki against a bunch of small fries… what a waste."
Kaku, resting his chin on his hand, also looked down at the scene, commenting casually, "It's the most efficient way to deal with them. I'm so envious. If only I had Conqueror's Haki…"
"Tch, keep dreaming," Enel replied with a smirk. "I'm bored staying up here. Looks like all the buildings down there are empty. Let's find a hidden spot to park the ship and go for a stroll."
Kaku grinned. "Sounds good to me. I'm all for it."
After Enel and Kaku secured the ship, they ventured into the deserted streets of the main island. They hadn't gone far before a group of men appeared, each accompanied by large, white dogs.
The leader of the group arrogantly declared, "We are the Guard Dog Squad, assigned to eliminate intruders. You two will meet your end here. Prepare to die, intruders!"
Enel looked at them with disdain. "You think you can kill us with a few dogs? Heh, how laughable."
Sparks of electricity crackled in Enel's palm as he raised his hand.
The Guard Dog Squad leader, grinning confidently, said, "Don't think it's just us. From the moment you set foot on the main island, everyone has been on high alert. Hahaha, now you'll face the combined might of our forces!"
From all sides, more marines poured out of the alleyways, their numbers three to four times larger than those who had surrounded Takumi earlier.
"Individually, they aren't strong," Kaku whispered to Enel, moving closer, "but their numbers… we should be cautious."
"You're such a coward," Enel teased. "This many people aren't even enough to keep me entertained. If you're scared, just stay behind me."
Kaku chuckled awkwardly. "I'm not scared. Just saying, it doesn't hurt to be careful."
"Hey! What are you two whispering about?" the Guard Dog Squad leader shouted, clearly irritated. "It's too late for tactics now. Men, attack! Finish them off!"
"Yeah! Take them down!"
"Charge!"
The group charged at Enel and Kaku.
Enel nonchalantly tapped his thunder drums twice, and a massive lightning dragon roared out, electrocuting the nearest attackers, leaving them charred and smoking on the ground.
