Chapter 199 - Chapter 199: Amazon Lily: The Master of Causing Trouble!

Even though Kaku had never been to Amazon Lily before, he knew a bit about it. This wasn't a place just anyone could visit—especially not men.

"Alright, I understand," Kaku replied without any objections.

After all, whatever he said wouldn't change anything. It was better to just listen to Takumi and stay put.

Takumi nodded slightly and turned away, heading into the dense jungle on the island.

It was only after Takumi had left that Kaku noticed the girl on the beach—unconscious from Takumi's Haki. He stared for a moment, realizing why Takumi had used such powerful Haki earlier. "Using Haki to deal with one girl... What a waste."

As Takumi ventured deeper into Amazon Lily's forest, which was filled with all kinds of fierce beasts, he came across many animals lying unconscious on the ground—also affected by his Haki.

He ignored the unconscious creatures and continued walking, asking, "System, how many tasks are there on this island?"

[Ding! Besides the first sign-in task, there are currently four progress tasks to complete. One task accounts for 30% of the total progress, while the other three each account for 20%.]

Takumi asked, "Check the details for the 30% task."

Every time he arrived at a new sign-in location, he could view one of the progress tasks in detail.

[Ding! Obtain the recognition of Pirate Empress Boa Hancock, and the host will receive 30% sign-in progress.]

Hearing this, Takumi paused for a moment.

He knew Boa Hancock's personality all too well.

With her character, getting her approval was next to impossible. She acted like a tyrant, even toward the people of her own island, and she despised men more than anyone else.

The reason for this hatred was rooted in her past.

As a child, Boa Hancock had been kidnapped by traffickers and sold to the Celestial Dragons, where she lived as a slave for years. Her traumatic experiences deepened her disdain for men.

So, completing this task wouldn't be easy.

The fact that he was a man already made Boa Hancock hate him.

Although Takumi could approach this task like he usually did—just going with the flow—this situation was different. If he let things take their course, he might never be able to leave Amazon Lily.

He definitely didn't want to stay on this island forever.

It seemed like he needed to come up with a plan.

Just as Takumi was deep in thought, he suddenly heard footsteps approaching.

Two women, dressed in revealing, warrior-like attire and armed with spears, were laughing and chatting as they walked toward his position.

Without hesitation, Takumi leapt lightly into a nearby tree, landing silently on a thick branch.

"I heard a flying ship appeared on the eastern shore. I've never seen a ship fly before."

"Is that for real? Since when do ships fly?"

"It's true! Molli saw it with her own eyes. She's waiting at the shore for the royal guards to arrive."

"Wow, it even alarmed Lady Marguerite? We're pretty close to the eastern shore. Should we go check it out?"

"We probably shouldn't... I heard Lady Hancock might go there, too. If she catches us slacking off in the forest, she'll be furious."

"Ugh, what a shame... Huh? What's going on here? Why are all these animals lying around? Are they dead?"

The two women immediately checked the animals nearby, noting that the creatures were still alive but unconscious. This made them even more suspicious.

As they looked ahead, they saw that the path toward the eastern shore was littered with collapsed beasts. The women exchanged nervous glances, and one of them, a short-haired woman with brown hair, quickly pulled a Den Den Mushi from her chest, preparing to call for backup.

But before she could, a powerful, oppressive force suddenly washed over them, making it hard to breathe. In an instant, both women collapsed, unconscious.

Takumi jumped down from the tree, silently making his way back toward the shore.

Meanwhile, back at the eastern shore, on the ship…

Kaku had gathered his tools and started repairing the damage to the bow of the ship.

Enel had mostly recovered by now and, frustrated from earlier, was looking for something to vent his anger on. With his powerful Observation Haki, he sensed a group of people approaching.

"Hmph! Perfect timing," Enel sneered, leaping off the ship.

Kaku, noticing Enel leaving, called after him, "Where are you going? Captain Takumi told me to keep an eye on you. Don't go causing trouble."

"Hmph! Do you think I, the Thunder God, would cause trouble?" Enel retorted, clearly offended.

Kaku just sighed. Of course, Enel was exactly the type to cause trouble...

At that moment, a small squad of around a dozen people emerged from the jungle.

Leading the group were two women: a young girl with slightly curled blonde hair and a quiver of arrows strapped to her thigh, known as Marguerite, and another woman, even taller than Enel, wearing a round hat with the "Kuja" emblem and carrying a longsword at her waist—her name was Aifrande.

Behind them, two large ape-like women were carrying a sedan chair, surrounded by other warrior women, each armed with their own unique weapons.

"They really made it ashore!" Marguerite's eyes widened when she spotted the damaged ship, but her expression turned serious when she saw the motionless, wavy-haired girl lying on the ground. "That's Molli! What did these outsiders do to her? This is outrageous!"

Before Marguerite could do anything, Enel transformed into a bolt of lightning and appeared in front of them, blocking their path.

Marguerite and the others immediately drew their weapons.

"A Devil Fruit user?" Aifrande muttered, her expression darkening. "Seems like a Logia user, too. This could be troublesome..."

Enel scanned the group of women with a mocking smile. "Heh! So, it really is all women. This island is turning out to be a nice surprise."

"Huh? Is this guy a man?" one of the women asked, confused.

"I don't know. I've never seen a man before," another replied.

"Just listen to him! He's definitely a man! And men aren't allowed on this island! He even hurt Molli. He deserves to die!"

The warrior women surrounding the sedan chair all shouted angrily.

Marguerite and Aifrande exchanged a glance before Marguerite drew her bow, wasting no time in firing an arrow at Enel.

Enel scoffed and easily dodged the arrow using his Haki. Then, raising his hand, he summoned a lightning strike aimed directly at Marguerite.

Marguerite reacted quickly, jumping out of the way, but just as she landed, another bolt of lightning struck down...

"Ah..." With a cry of pain, she collapsed to the ground, barely conscious.

Note: I finally understand why Takumi's personality is the way it is as I am at Chapter 363. I used to think he was just an emotionless person. Should I inform those who complain about the main character's lack of personality that there is a reason for his demeanor and that things are going to get interesting, or should I just leave it at that?
