Chapter 7 - Tomi finally Decision.

As Gina exited the room, Tomi's gaze hardened, his brows knitting together in deep suspicion.

His heart pounded in his chest, each beat echoing Gina's words about fighting back and taking control of his fate.

The idea gnawed at him, but trust was a luxury he couldn't afford. Not with her, not with anyone.

"Offering me a chance?" he muttered under his breath, the bitterness in his voice betraying the storm brewing inside him.

Resentment and hatred welled up, fueling a burning thirst for revenge against the organization that had twisted his life into this nightmare.

Just then, a strange sensation rippled through his brain, like an icy tendril snaking through his consciousness.

His vision flickered, shifting as if a new layer had been peeled back from reality. Suddenly, the walls around him became translucent, his sight cutting through them like a blade.

He could see the faint outlines of other soldiers, their body heat glowing through the thick mecha pilot gear, as though his eyes had been infused with some nightmarish night vision.

"What… what is this?" Tomi gasped, panic setting in as the new ability overwhelmed him.

The sensation wasn't just strange—it was terrifying. His pupils burned, a searing pain that felt like his eyes were being rewritten, reshaped into something unnatural.

The eerie vision vanished as abruptly as it had come, leaving him reeling, and disoriented.

Then the pain hit, a sudden, sharp thump in his brain that felt like a sledgehammer to his skull. He staggered, clutching his head, the world spinning around him.

"Curse those people!" Tomi growled through gritted teeth, his voice trembling with rage and fear.

The pain in his head mirrored the anguish in his heart, a searing reminder of what had been done to him. His resentment towards the organization swelled to a fever pitch, boiling over until it was all he could feel, all he could think about.

Then, without warning, his legs gave way, and the world went black as he collapsed to the floor.

The last thought that flickered through his mind was a vow—a promise to himself—that he would make them pay, no matter what it took.

Tomi's consciousness drifted into a dark, oppressive void. The faint echo of his last thoughts—vengeance, resentment, and fear—lingered like a distant storm, ever-present yet unreachable.

As he floated in this abyss, a chilling silence enveloped him, offering no comfort, no respite from the turmoil within.

Slowly, the darkness began to recede, replaced by a soft, pulsing light. The light grew stronger, more intense until it became a blinding white that seared his vision.

Tomi's eyes snapped open, his body jerking awake as if he had been shocked back to life.

He was lying on a cold metal floor, his breath ragged and his heart pounding in his ears. The sterile, metallic scent of the room assaulted his senses, making him gag.

Blinking rapidly, he tried to focus, but his vision was still hazy from the strange experience he had just endured.

Groaning, Tomi pushed himself up on shaky arms, his head spinning as the pain from before throbbed faintly in the back of his skull.

He scanned the room, noting the starkness, his room suddenly turned into clinical surroundings—metal walls, dim lights, and the hum of machinery.

The room was empty, save for a small monitor flickering in the corner.

As his eyes adjusted, Tomi caught sight of his reflection in a nearby pane of glass.

His face was pale, his dark circles more pronounced than ever, but it was his eyes that drew his attention.

They were bloodshot, the veins standing out starkly against the whites of his eyes, and his pupils… they were dilated, almost unnaturally so.

"What have they done to me?" he whispered, his voice barely audible, trembling with the weight of the question.

The monitor in the corner beeped, drawing his gaze. A single message blinked on the screen:

[New Subject: Enhanced Vision Activated. Status: Unstable.]

Tomi's breath caught in his throat.

"Enhanced Vision? Was that what had just happened? Was that why he could see through walls, why my vision had changed so drastically?"

His heart raced, panic rising once again as the implications sank in.

The organization had done more than just experiment on him—they had turned him into something else, something unnatural.

Rage flared in his chest, hot and consuming. The thought of being used, manipulated, and experimented on like some lab rat was too much to bear.

He clenched his fists, his nails digging into his palms as he fought to contain the fury boiling inside him.

But even as the anger surged, a tiny voice in the back of his mind whispered—what if this power could be used against them? What if he could turn their weapon on them? The thought was intoxicating, a glimmer of hope in his otherwise bleak existence, then a grin played on his lips

The door to his room slid open with a hiss, and Tomi snapped his head towards the sound, his body tensing instinctively.

A figure stood in the doorway, silhouetted by the harsh light from the corridor outside. It was Gina, her expression calm but watchful as she stepped into the room.

"Kiddo," she said softly, her voice measured, "I see you're awake."

Tomi didn't respond, his eyes narrowing as he glared at her.

His mind raced, torn between the desire to lash out and the need to stay composed, to play along until he could figure out his next move.

Gina's gaze flicked to the monitor, and she sighed, her shoulders sagging slightly.

"You've been through a lot, I know. But what happened just now—that's just the beginning. You have abilities now, things that could help us in the fight against the organization that did this to you."

Tomi scoffed, the sound bitter and sharp.

"Help you? Why would I ever help you? Your organization is just another group trying to use me for its ends."

Gina shook her head, her eyes softening with a hint of sympathy.

"I understand why you'd think that, but you have to believe me—we're trying to stop them. And we need people like you to do it. You're not alone in this, Kiddo. There are others like you in our organization, and together, we can fight back."

Tomi stared at her, his expression unreadable as he weighed her words.

He wanted to trust her, wanted to believe that he wasn't just a pawn in another game. But the scars of his past were too deep, the wounds too fresh.

Finally, he spoke, his voice low and strained. "And if I refuse?"

Gina met his gaze, her expression hardening as now she had to avoid telling him he'll killed by Malik.

"Then you'll be left to fend for yourself. Out there, you won't survive long.

Not with the other organizations and potential Eclipse organizations hunting you, not with what's happening to your body. But if you stay… you might have a chance."

A heavy silence hung between them, the weight of the decision pressing down on Tomi like a crushing force.

He looked away, his mind churning as he tried to make sense of everything.

Gina took a step closer, her voice dropping to a whisper.

"We don't have much time. The decision is yours, but know this—if you choose to join us, you'll be fighting for your survival and for a chance to take control of your fate."

Tomi clenched his jaw, his heart pounding as he struggled to decide. Trust was a risk, but so was going it alone. He had been running for so long, hiding in the shadows, but maybe… just maybe… it was time to fight back.

Taking a deep breath, he turned back to Gina, his eyes hard with resolve. "Alright. I'll join you… but I'm doing this on my terms."

Gina nodded, a small smile playing on her lips. "That's all we ask, kiddo. Welcome to the fight, HS organization other words Humanity Saviour organization."

As she turned to leave, Tomi remained where he was, his heart still racing, his mind a whirlwind of emotions.

The path ahead was uncertain, fraught with danger and betrayal. But one thing was clear—he would no longer be a victim.

He would be the one to bring the fight to them, to the Eclipse organization that had destroyed his life. And he would make them pay.
