As Elion channeled mana onto the rune next to him, multiple runes chained together responded to his call. Space distortions filled the ground, absorbing soil and everything close to it without distinction.
Most fourth-stage beasts barely had any resistance against the space distortions. Their bodies refused to obey and were soon pulled to a space distortion center. They functioned like a vacuum, pulling in whatever was possible to fill their void.
The fifth-stage beasts had it better. Elion's rune didn't have enough suction power to pull them to its center—the stronger ones could even move slowly away from it.
The beasts' bodies who were pulled inside the traps mingled horrendously. The flesh and blood mixed, forming a grotesque ball of meat. Some of them were alive but weren't even able to scream.
Or maybe they could, but even the sound couldn't escape the strong suction.
