The Trial of the Nexus
Having finally taken the relic for himself, Alex stood at the edge of the chamber, curious as to what was next. His hands still tingled from the energy running through him, a reminder of the power of the relic and all that he had done. But there would be no time to rest. The system had already seeded in the notion of the next challenge, and Alex knew it was coming sooner rather than later.
He walked back toward the town, his pace leisurely, when again the voice of the system spoke inside his head: "The relic has been obtained, but for the hidden feature to be fully unlocked, you must now face the Trial of the Nexus."
Alex froze right where he was, a frown wrinkling his brow. "Trial of the Nexus? What's that?
