'I can't feel my arm!'

[Noted. Rerouting nerve signals. Be advised: blood pressure climbing to dangerous levels.]

The world swam at the edges of Ned's vision as his body twisted away from another swipe. His dead arm flopped uselessly, spraying blood in an arc.

Tiger grinned, blood—Ned's blood—dripping from his claws. "Breaking already, little man?"

Ned groaned at the remark, then quickly sidestepped as Tiger feinted left before pouncing right. "That was old the first fifty times, Tiger."

"Critics, everyone's a critic." Tiger rebounded off the right wall, then the left, building momentum in a dizzying zigzag pattern. "How about we review my newest material? I've been working on my delivery!"

As he spoke the last word, Tiger suddenly reversed direction, using his powerful arms to swing around a drain pipe. The unexpected move caught Ned off guard, but not the system. Just as Tiger's foot connected with Ned's shoulder, the system chimed up.
