Without warning, Tiger launched himself at the left wall, using it as a springboard to ricochet toward Ned at an impossible angle. Ned's body dropped and rolled, feeling the whoosh of air as Tiger's claws missed him by inches.

"Not bad!" Tiger landed in a crouch, his tail swishing with excitement.
Ned looked down at his body, seemingly oblivious to how he had managed that last-minute tuck and roll that had spared him from being dismembered.
Without hesitation, Ned broke into a run towards the other outlet in the opposite direction.
Tiger, seeing this, sighed theatrically, launching himself off one wall to land gracefully on the side of the other. His claws left deep grooves in the brick.
"Knock knock!" Tiger called, upside down, gripping the wall above Ned's head.
Despite his terror, Ned found himself asking, "W-who's there?"
