"George, we're getting overrun!" Raven shouted over the chaos, reloading her rifle as she took aim at the nearest cluster of zombies.
Just as things seemed dire, a soft glow began to form around the convoy. It started as a faint shimmer but quickly grew into a brilliant golden barrier. Princess Althea, standing at the center of the convoy, raised her arms, her fingers weaving delicate patterns in the air as she called upon her ancient elven magic. The golden light spread outward, forming a protective bubble around the convoy, pushing the zombies back and keeping them from reaching the vehicles.
