I had been surrounded by Damian, that bastard, all the time! No matter how much I tried to avoid him, he wouldn't leave me alone. He was relentless, constantly prying into my life, trying to figure out how I fell for Claire and where I first met her. His curiosity was maddening.
In the end, I couldn't take it anymore and managed to shoo him off with much difficulty. But even after I got rid of him, the damage was done. Now that he knew about my feelings for Claire, I was being teased like never before.
"These bastards!" I growled under my breath, clenching my fists. "And how dare Zaniel join Damian to tease me!" I stormed off furiously as I escaped their torment.
