She had no words for how relieved she felt at hearing that sentence. She hadn't imagined feeling so much relief from any one thing Donncahd might say, but so it was.
"We will have to find an inn for tonight. There is a settlement not far from here. I see no reason to set up camp when they will be able to provide us with a roof instead."
Donncahd shook his head. "It ought to silence that doctor and his complaining."
Rache stared at him, blinking as the information sunk in.
It wasn't likely that Donncahd would truly go so far out of his way just to avoid the nagging of a a single doctor. That simply wasn't his personality.
He would have ignored the man for years yapping directly in his ear if he had to, simply to make a point.
Which meant that, if he was making that excuse, he must have been lying.
But why would he cover for choosing to sleep inside where it was warm and dry?
