Donncahd stared at her, unimpressed.
She didn't like that at all.
She didn't say that, however.
She could only imagine that he'd make the ir time stuck together in the snowy tent more unpleasant if she did.
Just out of petty spite. Because it would annoy her.
He didn't have the same hang ups that most people did about doing cruel things to other people. That was clear. It was part of being the villain.
It made her life harder.
"Pray do you have a complaint about my words?" He said finally. His tone was bored and flat.
"Dp you have a complaint about my silence?"
"Not at all." His lips quirked into that favored sardonic smile of his. "Consider extending it."
Rache's jaw tightened, but she refused to give him a reaction. Instead, she turned on her side and laid down with her back towards him, wrapping the blankets around her tighter and hunkering in the tent floor, attempting to sleep again.
