A rainy night in Seoul, in a dark alley in the Gangnam district.
The rain falls incessantly on the streets of Seoul, creating a veil of fog that blurs the neon lights of the city. In a dark alley, far from the bustle of Gangnam, a man walks with a determined gait. His figure is wrapped in a black raincoat, his face hidden under a hood that blends into the darkness of the night.
In front of him, a middle-aged man stumbles and staggers, evidently drunk. His clothes are disheveled, and a stench of alcohol surrounds him. As he turns around, his once handsome face now bears the traces of years of excess and cruelty.
"Who… who are you?" Kang Dae-sung stammers, his voice thick.
The mysterious man does not respond. His silhouette approaches with a cold calm, emanating a menacing presence.
Kang Dae-sung pales as the drunken fog briefly lifts, and a terrifying recognition appears in his eyes.
"Don't… don't come closer. Leave me alone," he hesitates, backing away.
The mysterious man stops a few steps away. With a slow, deliberate movement, he pulls out a small notebook and, under the dim light of a streetlamp, begins to read in a low, cold voice.
"Kang Dae-sung… murderer of three young women. You tore apart more than five families, and yet you walk free thanks to expensive lawyers and corrupt judges."
Kang Dae-sung staggers back, terror gripping him. He tries to turn and run, but his feet slip on the wet pavement, and he falls to his knees. Desperation creeps into his voice as he tries to plead for his life.
"Please, it was a mistake!" I... I've changed, I swear...
The mysterious man laughs, a dark sound echoing through the empty alley.
"Change?" Kang Dae-sung, justice knows no forgiveness. Justice only knows the truth.
Kang Dae-sung tries to get up, but a flash of lightning illuminates the alley, revealing a metallic glint in the mysterious man's hand. Kang's eyes widen in horror.
"No! Please, no!" he screams, desperate.
But his scream is drowned out by the rumble of thunder. The mysterious man advances mercilessly, and in one swift, precise movement, the metallic glint moves, and Kang Dae-sung's scream is abruptly cut off.
A deathly silence envelops the alley, broken only by the steady dripping of rain... and something else. The mysterious man stands over Kang Dae-sung's lifeless body, staring for a moment at his handiwork. Then he turns around, and without looking back, he disappears into the darkness of the rainy night, blending into the shadows.
The next morning, newspaper headlines shock the city: "Kang Dae-sung, acquitted years ago of multiple sexual assault charges, found dead." The cause of death: a precise, surgical cut to the neck. The police have no leads, but rumors are already circulating about a vigilante in Seoul's shadows, an unknown figure who brings justice to those who elude it.
