Piere stood in front of Sir Gareth Vandir, the legendary knight known throughout the kingdom as Reeve's personal bodyguard. An aura of arrogance and power enveloped his gleaming armor. Even though Piere had trained hard and fought in many battles, he knew that facing Sir Gareth was a far greater challenge than anything he had ever experienced before. Yet, courage burned within him, guiding him to step forward with his katana in hand.
"From here, you will go no further!" Piere shouted loudly, trying to encourage himself while also warning the knight before him.
Sir Gareth smirked, dismissing Piere's bravery. "You're quite bold, young man. But courage alone is not enough to defeat true strength!" Gareth said, his voice calm but full of authority. With a swift movement, he raised his sword and unleashed a horizontal slash aimed at Piere.
