As young girl running through the crowd, trying to find the golden robbed young boy. Unfortunately, she was too late.
She stood there, her beautiful and slightly narrow eyes scanning the surroundings, but the figure was nowhere to be found.
The gleam in her eyes dimmed.
"What's wrong, sister?" A silver-haired young boy quickly caught up, his eyes full of curiosity.
Hu Liena, now six years old, was biting on a pacifier. She gently shook her head.
"Brother, Nana is fine."
"Good to hear." Xie Yue sighed in relief.
He looked at his sister, who was still accustomed to biting on the pacifier, and helplessly took her small hand.
"Let's go, it's time to head back."
"Okay." Hu Liena nodded, following behind Xie Yue.
As she took a few steps forward, she couldn't help but glance back at the crowd.
Holding her hand, Xie Yue said, "After tomorrow, when we awaken our martial spirits, we can leave the orphanage and go find Yan. From then on, I'll always protect you, sister."
"Thank you, brother." Hu Liena squinted her eyes, took the pacifier out of her mouth, and said cheerfully, "Tomorrow, brother's martial spirit will surely be stronger than Yan's."

"Whose rabbit is this?!" A sudden voice of reproach came from the street, followed by the sound of a rabbit being kicked.
Thud!
The Soft Bone Rabbit, hungry and thirsty, couldn't resist anymore.
It jumped out of Qian Renjue's coat and dived into a pile of vegetables, nibbling away.
In no time, someone swatted it to the ground, causing it to roll back to Qian Renjue's feet.
Squeak!
The Soft Bone Rabbit lay on the ground, glaring angrily at the merchant who was just trying to make a living.
Most residents in Spirit City were spirit masters, with only a few setting up stalls.
"Jue, your pet is very lively," Qian Renxue smiled as she looked at the rabbit, hugging Qian Renjue's arm while holding a skewer of candied hawthorn.
Qian Renjue shook his head helplessly. "Yeah, it's pretty stronf too."
He walked forward and picked up the rabbit, which was about to jump up and kick someone.
Squeak!
(Let go of Sister Xiao Wu! Xiao Wu will take care of him!)
Qian Renjue, annoyed, flicked its ears, causing the rabbit to scream and raise its small front paws as if trying to cover its ears.
"Behave yourself!"
Whimper!

"If you act up again, I'll skin you and give your fur to that merchant as compensation."

(Why?! What i was eating is just common roadside weeds! )
The Soft Bone Rabbit shrieked, looking a bit indignant.
In the forest, it could eat whatever it wanted!

Seeing its defiance, Qian Renjue narrowed his eyes and started pulling on both ears like a swing.

The little rabbit kicked its limbs in protest, tears welling up.

Her lively voice, like the sound of a clear mountain stream, echoed in the chilly morning air.

Ye Lingling knocked repeatedly on the door. Her pure white dress made her seem otherworldly.
Behind her, a beautiful woman in a yellow imperial gown hurried over.
"Lingling, you know your grandfather needs to rest," the woman said, trying to pull her away.
But the door suddenly opened with a creak.
Following that was a hearty laugh. "My precious granddaughter, Grandpa has been awake for a while now."
"Grandpa!" Ye Lingling rushed over to Ye Renxin as if she had found her treasure.
"Hey!" Ye Renxin bent down lovingly, stroking her hair.
Today, he was dressed particularly well, his hair and beard neatly groomed.
"Father," the woman, with tears in her eyes, called softly as she looked at him.
Ye Renxin lifted his eyes to his daughter. "Qingshui, go and prepare breakfast. Let your father have a good meal, haha."
"Yes, I'll do that." Ye Qingshui's voice was thick with emotion, and her eyes turned red as tears welled up. Not wanting her daughter to see, she quickly turned away, covering her mouth and nose as she left in haste.
She was heartbroken for her father, but also for her daughter.
