Facing his daughter, Qian Xunji did not use any soul skills.
He simply wielded his sword to block and spar with her, countering her moves.
Around Qian Renxue, three purple soul rings spun as she moved skillfully, holding nothing back.
After all, she was up against a Rank 95 titled Douluo, while she was only a Spirit Elder.
Even if she exerted all her strength, she couldn't harm Qian Xunji in the slightest.
Clang!
The swords of the father and daughter clashed, producing sparks.
A powerful force was transmitted through the sword, sending Qian Renxue flying backward.
Her eyes, glowing with white light, observed her father's movements with the Eye of Insight, making them appear slower to her.
The six wings on Qian Renxue's back fluttered as she stabilized herself, and the third soul ring beneath her feet suddenly glowed.
With a hint of black light, she unleashed her third soul skill: Angel Feather Blade!
Golden light surged from the six wings behind her, sending three pairs of angelic feather blades flying out, spinning around her like drones.
"Go!" Qian Renxue shouted, pointing her sword at Qian Xunji.
The six angelic feather blades surrounding her immediately flew toward him, aiming to cut through his defenses.
At the same time, Qian Renxue followed closely behind with her sword.
Qian Xunji instantly sensed that the sharp blades were targeting his weak points.
He couldn't help but praise her, "Good move!"
He swiftly spun his sword, forming a net of sword energy to intercept the incoming feather blades.
Meanwhile, Qian Renjue, in stark contrast to the battling father and daughter, lay lazily on the grass nearby with a book covering his face.
Sunbathing with a hint of boredom, he was unable to participate in the physical training due to the side effects of his Fallen Angel martial spirit.
His training was limited to soul cultivation or reading book on the sidelines.
Perhaps because of this, Qian Renjue had more time to devote to soul power cultivation, which led to him surpassing Qian Renxue slightly, having already reached Rank 38.
Listening to the sound of clashing swords, Qian Renjue removed the book from his face and stood up, greeting Qian Daoliu, who was watching the fight. "Grandpa, I'd like to go down the mountain for a bit."
Qian Daoliu smiled and nodded. "Go ahead. Be careful, and come back early."
"Got it," Qian Renjue replied, glancing at the still-unfinished battle before he turned and ran down the mountain with a clear destination in mind.
Before long, he arrived outside Bibi Dong's courtyard.
Looking at the locked gate, he couldn't help but wonder what was going on.
Over the past two years, it seemed that Qian Xunji had become increasingly relaxed in delegating tasks to Bibi Dong, almost as if he were preparing to hand everything over to her.
Without dwelling on it further, Qian Renjue effortlessly jumped over the courtyard wall, moving fluidly as though he had done it many times before.
Once inside, he filled the watering can and leisurely watered the flowers, tending to the soil as well.
After finishing these tasks, he quickly left the courtyard and headed back up the mountain to the Worship hall to continue practicing swordsmanship with Qian Renxue.
Just as he landed outside, two surprised voices greeted him. "Young Master Jue?!"
"Hmm?" Qian Renjue raised an eyebrow and straightened up, turning to see three figures approaching.
The one in the middle, a graceful woman with a gentle smile, looked directly at Qian Xunju with clear violet eyes full of affection.
"Chrysanthemum Sister, Ghost Grandpa, and... Mom?!"
Qian Xunju's face lit up with joy as he rushed toward Bibi Dong, who appeared as normal as ever, without the usual coldness.
Dressed in a simple white gown, her graceful figure was complemented by minimal accessories, and her flawless beauty needed no makeup.
She radiated elegance and nobility, and every positive adjective seemed to fit her perfectly.
"Mom, you're finally back!" Qian Renjue smiled as he threw himself into Bibi Dong's arms, snuggling against her warmth.
"Did you forget what I told you again?" Bibi Dong gently hugged him, affectionately ruffling his hair.
Her expression and actions were natural, having grown accustomed to such interactions over the past three years.
"Mom, it's just Chrysanthemum Sister and Ghost Grandpa. They're not outsiders. Why can't I call you 'Mom'?" Qian Renjue said, looking up at her with a smile.
"When did you learn to talk back?" Bibi Dong chuckled, using both hands to pinch his cheeks playfully.
"I wasn't talking back," Qian Renjue mumbled through his squished face, laughing.
Bibi Dong laughed, not dwelling on the matter. "It's perfect timing. I brought you something delicious."
"More treats?" Qian Renjue asked, his eyes sparkling with curiosity and anticipation.
"Of course," Bibi Dong replied with a warm smile as a flash of light from her soul tool revealed a string of crystal-clear candied hawthorns in her hand.
She gracefully lifted one of the hawthorn berries and offered it to Qian Renjue, who eagerly bit into it.
"Thank you, Mom!" Qian Renjue happily accepted the treat, allowing her to gently push the rest of the berry into his mouth.
"You're welcome." Watching her son enjoy the treat, Bibi Dong couldn't resist cupping his face and planting a kiss on his cheek.
Next to them, Chrysanthemum Douluo reminded, "Your Highness, we should report back soon."
Bibi Dong's smile faded slightly. "All right, let's finish up here."
Qian Renjue laughed and tried to grab the rest of the candied hawthorn. "Mom, I'm old enough now. Let me take care of this myself."
Hearing this, Bibi Dong furrowed her brow even more and playfully flicked his forehead. "When you're older than me, we'll talk about it."
"Uh..." Qian Renjue rubbed his forehead, chuckling sheepishly.
"Hmph!" Bibi Dong scoffed, pulling out a large bag from her soul tool and handing it to him. "Here, I got you some local specialties from a village, and a new dress for your sister."
"Thank you, Mom!" Qian Renju grinned, hugging the large bag to his chest.
Every time Bibi Dong returned from a trip, she would bring something for him and his sister.
